A tribute to Final Fantasy XVI that I've been picking at for a few weekends. I watched my partner play through the game recently and fell in love with it SO much harder than I was expecting to. The music especially slaps, this track and the sequence it backs goes so hard and was the sole driving force behind this.

This started as an idea for a base but as I was cleaning up the sketch it hit me that I really just wanted to Draw A Giratina so I pivoted.
I've been trying to improve my sense of color without relying on filters so for this I challenged myself to eyeball a color palette and stick with it on a single layer using a single brush. Art that incorporates lots of warm/cold hue variation tends to be what makes me stop and stare for a while so I tried to capture that here.

A huge and very rewarding commission I did for themetaisreal throughout fall! This is definitely the most elaborate piece I've done this year. The first phase was a redesign of one of their characters (a design originally by Demitsorou) and the second phase was an illustration of them in a typical environment. I really liked working with TMIR and am looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Happy New Year! December was a pretty slow art month, didn't work on much besides sticker commissions which I've been taking over in the Discord server (those slots are all full at the moment).
