Sorry for the erratic scheduling on these - it turns out arranging time for multiple people to record is more challenging than I remember! This time we add Xaq to the equation, who if you've been around on the channel a long time you'll remember from the Hatoful stuff that started me going. We continue to explore worlds 5 and 6, and find a few secrets along the way...

And because I forgot to announce part 7 on Patreon until today, we're already in the last part of Myst III Exile! All that stands in our way are a gigantic puzzle and an unstable antagonist.
I really liked the story of this game (and this time the puzzles weren't obtuse either!) I think it has one of the most justified antagonists I've seen in any game I've played.

Okay, I was proud of my solution to the puzzle in Part 6, but this the most incredible part yet. I'm very glad that even though it was the first age entrance that I fiddled with, this ended up being the last Age that I visited!

Our third linked island in Exile is Amateria! It's beautiful and mysterious, but I mostly ignore all that and spend ages talking about the weights of different kinds of balls instead.
This is my favourite puzzle in the game so far - I'm really proud that I worked this one out with no outside assistance.

Today in the third part of this game, we're heading to the Edanna age to bother some plants. I was trying to aim for 20-30 minutes per episode but I couldn't find a good place to split this one into two parts, so it's an extended special :)

Here are the last two parts of Myst! An adventure through the Channelwood age, and then a return to Myst Island, including some thoughts on the overall game at the very end. I can definitely appreciate that, while it was often characterized by awkwardness, Myst had a really interesting backstory and a sense of atmosphere that led to it being remembered.

It's just occurred to me that not everyone who's signed up here is on the Discord server - so here are the first four parts of the Myst series, due to go out publically over the next month! Thanks once again to Shuman3DBlast for suggesting the game.
We've all been absolutely knocked off our regular routines over the last five months. I hope everyone here is staying safe and healthy - I've had a lot more time at home but my drive to work on things was zapped out of existence. However, finally, I've got some drive back again and the Epic series is finally complete :) Here's the early access video, which will be released publically next week!
