A bit of a long update on where we are on the chapter and more generally.
Chapter 5 overview
Well it feels more or less there. The main script is all done, coding too and all the still images have been whomped up as well as some of the animations too. Given that, at the same time, I've been completely refreshing the GUI and the players game mechanics (so pulling the game apart and putting it together again) that doesn't feel too shabby to me....

All bugs squished, typo's corrected etc and links are below for you to be able to download a fresh script.
For those who have never replaced a script before it is a very easy process. Just download the correct file from the links below and then cut and paste into the directories as shown in the following screen shots. It saves you having to download the whole thing again for just some coding corrections.

Bugs and Slugs
Staggeringly, not that many - and mainly related to small typos in the text, stray apostrophes etc. Only two game bugs have come to light and both of these are on fairly obscure pathways and so you may not even come across them. This doesn't mean they shouldn't be fixed ofc, they should and will be. But I'll hold off any immediate script corrections at the moment to see if anything else crops up...

The new update contains over 3,000 images, 233 animations (exceeding 30,000 frames), north of 70,000 words, strip pool, dress up games, combat, monsters, mysteries, hidden objects, bad jokes, good jokes, a massive CoC...and a whole host of other content.
Play time will vary hugely of course between those who only desire certain paths and combinations...

Firstly, thank you so much for all the suggestions on solving the pool gameplay issue. Instead of a single solution, I'm going to take quite a few of these and sprinkle them up and down the levels for where we need repeated shots. This could end up really polishing up the module as we'll suddenly have a lot more variety than originally planned, which will give it a bit more re-playability. Every cloud and all that, no?

A quick update before pledge renewal day.
We're close. Shockingly close.
There's been the usual animation fun of having to tweak and re-run certain ones (There should be a special hell for Daz asset designers who make assets that look good from afar and medium range and yet look like something out of Minecraft close up. Sorry, I know I said I'd be quiet for a bit but even I didn't think it would be this long. The main reason for the delay is I managed to kill the game stone dead. Like, totally.
Oh, it played fine. Worked perfectly in fact. Ran smoother than a new Rolls. It just had the slight problem of once you were past a certain point...saves no longer worked. Which isn't exactly a bonus feature.
