Daily WIP - Notes about my Shading Process

Another look at this piece - this time you can see a bit into how my shading is done!
I'm honestly still playing around with my process for this here and there, but generally I use a 'multiply' blending mode with 1-2 layers. 

One layer (which I haven't added here just yet) is a flat color, sometimes with airbrushed gradient/erased sections, and is what I use to set the general shift in tones to suit the lighting of the scene ^^

This post is kind of a test, I've had timelapses saved that I want to share with you guys but I've been a little confused on how exactly to do this securely with Patreon. But for now I'm trying with links from my google drive ;v;

Daily WIP - Pool Bar Rough

Today's WIP is my rough concept of a commission for my dear PegalaTheMoth on Twitter :D 

You can see two of my initial rough sketches attached as well; I was struggling a bit to find a nice pose that allowed for some interesting perspective with the half-underwater idea. My final rough here might still need some fiddling perspective wise, but I'm pretty happy with it overall ^^

So since you guys asked for more behind the scenes content, I'm going to try and share a WIP every day that I'm working ^^

Today's task is to get in some work on Blossom sub rewards, and also our monthly fanart pick - Judy Hopps! This is my initial rough sketch I did of her before bed last night, but things could change a LOT from here haha. Lets see where she ends up :D

An experimental sketchy halfbody of my baby ;v; 

I think I'm happy with this! Trying to rein myself in and do some simpler work- and I also wanted to take on a few smaller commissions in between stuff to help me stay afloat. So If anyone is interested, I'm thinking $80 each for halfbodies like this?

Finished YCH with 4 different versions for the wonderful UndeniablyFoxy! <3

I had so much fun with this piece, and I think I managed to find a new technique for shading that I really enjoy! 

I tried not to worry so much about how perfect things were, and left more hard edged shapes in the mix. I dig it a lot, it feels more free and artistic, not over-blended like I was doing before haha.

PS - someone remind me to find a better workflow for YCHs with multi version...

SO I had an idea, what if I did a YCH that is a.. two parter? Or has two versions: a single OC and a couple version? Kind of like a comic, but also not quite?

I wanted to get some feedback on this, as I could go one of three ways:

• A: Both are sold as a set to the same buyer
• B: They can be sold separately to one buyer, and optionally be different characters (ie, the female character could be different in the second vs the first), or the buyer can choose to...
