This month we've been working on getting all the assets together ready for the the next scene, which is Sombra's Finale, her turn in the 'high yield' or 'intensive stimulation' centre.

Hello all, happy new year!

Yes that's probably the first time I've 're-used' a title for my updates, but it seems apt. We run in cycles and the end of the year is always a good time to look back and reflect on where we are and what I've learned.

Just a quick post to advise you all, this production has unfortunately encountered unavoidable delays.
Due to sickness in the team the final stages of polish have been delayed, I have left it as late as possible before declaring it as an official delay as there was a chance we could still hit deadlines if it was completed early this week, but this is no longer the case as, as it stands right now there is not enough time to render the frames even if it was ready this instant.

Hey everyone!
So, just got back from blendercon in the last few days, that was a hell of an event!
It was truly inspiring to be rubbing shoulders with some of the best artists in the industry, I met people who worked on big hollywood movies and everything in between.
I met the guy who quite literally wrote the book on human anatomy, and got him to sign a copy for me.
I found the experience both humbling and inspiring, as I saw people giving talks that were at all level...

So, It's interesting being in this position, I guess finally I can say that I'm taking my first baby steps into establishing this little venture into a legitimate business.
It's been a learning experience and also a period of reflection, I'm new to managing a team so it's all very exciting and/or scary.
But everyone is now set to work, and we've got some really fun things in the works.
But in the mean time, there's always time for more machine fun!

Phew, that was a hell of a job that one!
So. I know it took a while. I hope that now you've all seen it you can see why it took so long!
A lot of it was... Honestly pretty stupid things, as it often is, but it became a playground to mess with a whole host of new ideas, little bits kept getting added here and there. It just kept expanding!

Hey Guys,
So, bad news I'm afraid, I'm not going to make the end of the month for this animation.
Originally I'd planned to be handing some timing accurate previs to the sound engineer by yesterday/tomorrow at the latest, giving him a week to do his work whilst the frames render and I can do some post, enabling me to hit the deadline of the end of the month.
But I misjudged the amount of good ideas that didn't seem to take... that much time to put in at the time.. but it all...

Apologies the update this month was a little later then usual, I was trying to get some decent looking preview images of some of the assets from the next piece together, but they're a bit short of show ready, so do please treat any images as the very work in progress state they are.
