Samurai

By popular demand, I read something about things like kamishimo, tabi and tō, and here's my version of supportless samurai. Grab both in the repository, one is also on Thingiverse.

Coming right up - kabuto, sode, kusazuri - I mean, armoured version.

Scorpio warriors

Androctonus crassicauda, or the Arabian fat-tailed scorpion, is dangerous even when it's a few centimeters long, so you can imagine how fearsome it can be when it's the size of an ATV. Only the bravest (or the craziest) warrios of the Scorpio clan can use it as a mount.
This model is inspired by a comment from Patron Auston. Get them (both with and without a rider) in 2020-02-02 23:21:00 +0000 UTC View Post

Harpies

Here come the ladies. Long slim necks, abundant bosom and some attitude. Might be NSFW in some conservative areas. Loosely based on a sculpture on a 19th century tenement house. Grab them (before they grab you and tear you to pieces) both in the repository, one is also on View Post

Intermission

"...and that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana-shaped"

I was very sorry to hear the sad news about Terry Jones, who passed away a few days ago. I decided to pay homage to the great Python by quickly sculpting a miniature of one of the characters he played in The Holy Grail, Sir Bedevere. It'...

She-elves

I think everybody agrees that female elves are the main reason teenage boys become fans of fantasy.

I've been having some problems with nasty evenly spaced banding on my Ender 3, causing a delay in this release.  Seems to be fixed after tightening wheels under the bed and the X axis belt, however I'm still experiencing weird random artifacts, probably due to un...

Ghouls

Here's a pair of ghouls, to keep you company during those picturesque strolls on a cemetary or an old battlefield. They used to be telemarketers, but had higher aspirations.
As usual, both are in the repository, and one of them is on Thingiverse.

Thanks to your support I donated part of my last mo...

Elven Archers

Finally, some non-humans. Those long-eared, tall, beautiful creatures. Some people say they are divine and don't have rectums (I'm sorry the models are not detailed enough to verify that information). You can find both in the repository (new address!), and one is also on Thingiverse.

I hope that jumping between ...

Moving East

So, since I'm getting more and more signals that it would be good to see more ethnic diversity and include models related to Asia, I will be looking into that direction as well. One step at a time - first let's visit the Middle East. Two saracen warriors in the repository, one of them on Thingiverse.

Thank you f...

Kids

You have to be careful with your kids. If you don't pay enough attention they might end up on the street, if you're too protective, they might start wearing weird clothes and casting spells.

Adventurers

That exciting moment when you're entering a dungeon for the first time...

This pair of adventurers comes as individual models (the male is available for all on Thingiverse) and as small pieces of diorama that can be hung on your tree, if you have one. Because you know, it's that season and all. Get them in the reposi...

Bandits, brigands, deserters, marauders or just poorly paid soldiers.
All available in the repository, with bases and baseless. The spearman and swordsman are available for all on Thingiverse.

Beware the Jabberwock, my son!

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wade;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe

Here are supportless Jabberwock and Alice,  inspired by the illustration from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There"  from 1871.
Both models are up in the repository View Post

And burbled as it came!"

A sneak peek of something I'm working on right now and will be releasing soon.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and a warm hello to all new Patrons!

Skeleton archers

I have to admit that I never liked the idea of skeletons using bows. How do they hit anything without eyeballs? Yeah, yeah, I know, evil magic. But if you've ever tried to nock an arrow then it'll make you wonder how those skellies manage to do it with their bony fingers.

Anyway, here is a skeleton archer in chainmail and a 2019-11-28 16:54:10 +0000 UTC View Post

Here are the the first support-free mounted units - a bard and a soldier with spear - available now in the repository

Here's a video of how they are printed on my Ender 3.

Support-free horse.

When I began making minis for 3d printing, I had two things in mind - that the minis are table-ready when taken off the printer bed and that no extra filament is wasted. I never liked supports and all the extra hassle with removing it.  Well, the supportless models always need some basic cleanup (and, well,  painting) but at least one can avoid throwing away all that support material. I still haven't finished the filament spool installed in June (!), although I've been prototyping a...

Goblin slingers

This smaller breed of goblins is armed with primitive, yet quite annoying ranged weapon -  the sling.  Do not underestimate these stone hurling urchins.

Doctor, doctor

Well, I have been sick for a few days now. An exeptionally nasty form of tonsillitis, which left me incapacitated for a few days, when I practically couldn't eat, drink or sleep.

Dwarves

It's always good to look around and up for new inspiration.  I based this Dwarf porter loosely on an atlant sculpture found on a beautiful Art-Noveau villa located in Łódź, Poland . There will be more fantasy creatures minis based on interesting architectural details.
