I don't think the build is good enough to resume pledges so pledges will stay paused
After trying out this game structure id be lying if i said im happy with it, so once again ill try something else out, something way simpler bordering on just a room with some progression attatched, hopefuly it'll be done within this month.

I got the new outfit for the wolf implemented, since it is a layer of clothes that would go on top underwear and the other pieces of clothing werent made with it in mind atleast for the time being this set of clothes will be the only one accesible, implementing the other clothes back would take less time since its already modeled but would still take some time.

Took me a bit longer than i expected to get the wolf room to the point it is at but ive had little to no experience modeling environments so i guess its to be expected, id say it is still missing some minor decorations but ill just leave it as is for the time being
(Levels in the game will be built using the 3D tile tool so they will take way way way way way less time than the manually modeled rooms)

Hey , i guess ive never stated what the original scope/plan of the game was so im not sure if it'll come as a disapointment but id rather be honest and say im downscoping the game from it, i don't think it is reasonable for me to complete it within any reasonable time frame and even if i had infinite time im almost certain i would run out of steam before the finish line.

Id like to say theres been lots of content added, but most of the time has been spent polishing adding a functionality to existing systems and fixing bugs
Best news i can give is that the wolf fight is on a good enough state to be on the game a lot of the functionality ive been adding is to help the fight work out if you get defeated or win, no extreme changes on how things play out but its nice to get a little reward for playing well

The past days have yielded
-Trees which also required some improvements to the saving and loading system since their destruction is pseudo persistant (they'll grow back)
-Chest a fancier way of having items within the world since just placing them on the floor looks kinda bad

The reason for the extension on my "vacation" was me working on a game that is SFW

Ive been working on the wolf fight which is almost done moveset wise, making the fight also has required me to polish up the AI system and a lot of little things (i don't take notes)
Besides that when it comes to major additions are a "poise" system, some creatures can have poise which tldr will make them have hyper armor, in other words you won't cancel their attacks when hitting them, however when you deal enough damage their poise will break and they'll be opened up for attacks

Last sneak peek i forgot to mention that i got the alternate wolf outfit done
Also been working on the optional wolf fight, which required to keep improving the AI system that was in place in this case i added "Behaivior sequences" and "AI points"
Behaivior sequences are behaiviors that get put on a list and get executed one after the other they don't execute at the same time, in this case the wolf has 2 behaiviors on its list

Got some of the wolf character animations in, added some extra debug functionality to allow me to swap which character im controlling on the fly, added a sun and moon, also finished another cutscene for the intro and decided to just cut out the 3rd "cutscene" i had planned and just add a "good morning" line whenever a new day starts

Been working on enemy spawning "arena" locking gave the main character vfx for movement and kept improving the dialogue/cutscene system
Also implemented a POV mode
There is still another 2 small cutscenes id like to add to the "intro" of the game and afterwards it would just be a case of building a bunch of content to get a first build ready

I upgraded the dialogue system to also work as a "cutscene" maker the cutscene in the video is a WIP, also got the reverse cowgirl animation done and implemented day persistant objects which means objects that will be reset once the day ends like enemies killed

Got the leveling system implemented some of it was trickier to implement than what a regular system would take
The leveling system was setup with the idea that i might add more bonuses at certain levels that the player might have already passed (ie your savefile on v1 is level 30 on v1 there were no abilities to be unlocked bellow level 30, on v2 i add an ability to unlock at level 22, a naive approach would require you to restart your file to get the bonus added at level 22)

Got the alternate player top, giving food and character "subtitles" since i think it would be kind of jarring to have the full size character model covering the screen for the hole dweller style reactions, along with this i also got the textlines on a csv file
