When you bring a game that Rarity gives you to play, and not even look at it before hoof, you know you're in trouble.  This is way too much game for Adorkable Twilight to handle.

New Endeavor Episode Discussion

Dash Earns Her Trophy Episode Discussion

Rainbow Dash humbles up, admits the error of her ways.  For one of the few times in this series, we see the good side of Dash poking out.  She owns up, apologizes, and even tries to make it right.  She generously gives her gear to the Apple's, including the car.  Sure it was Soarin's money, but he seemed to part with it quickly enough, lol. 

So in a perfect world, I would have loved to explore Dash trying over and over and not giving up on her first try, but sad...

Not The Best Episode Discussion

This is the pinnacle, the peak of Dash's story arc.  She discovers she can't excel and be the best at everything she does (at least to start with, don't forget practice makes better!).  So this episode is a humbling moment for our usually cocky, Dash.

Saturday Night Fright Episode Discussion

Rainbow Dash, feeling rather confident, pulls up beside Applejack before the race and makes her goals clear.  It shakes Applejack a bit, enough that she needs to tell her driver/brother, Big Mac, a little bit of strategy.  This episode sets us up to the climax of Rainbow Dash's arc.  We also see Sugar Belle again, a rare character in the series.  Also nice to see Twilight and Pinkie are there supporting the Apple's.  They aren't fully aware of Rainbow Dash's plans, so...

Professional Help Episode Discussion

Face Limits

Believe it or not, we have limits on all the characters in terms of their facial expressions.  Often in rough drafts, their facial expressions are much more radical and model breaking than what they actually end up as.  It's pretty funny how sketches can often look better than final products.

Smell Ya Later Episode Discussion

This is the lowest hanging fruit comic ever made.  It's horrible, I don't stand behind it, whomever wrote it needs to be fired.  Please just pretend it doesn't exist.  

If you can call these redeeming factors, this episode does show that Moondancer and Starlight do still like to carry out pranks.  Moondancer has put honey in Twilight's shampoo before, and Starlight has carried out many pranks in the past.

Goal This Season: Mane 6

Our goal this season/year is to give full stories to each of the Mane 6.  We are starting the Rainbow Dash one right away and going into full gear with is.  If you follow our Tumblr, you will already see it being ramped up.  It's a fun goal and should lead to achieving our other goal of having the Mane 6 in the series more!  So if you have a fav Mane 6 character, you can be pleased to know their stories and tales are being written!
