Observing Episode Discussion

Starlight has found out a way to get the mysterious stallion at work to flip his name tag over.  But for some reason, I feel this is a friendship building of fairly like minds.

Admittedly in panel one, when Starlight says, "I like your big truck" it was innuendo for something else... 

In early concepts this comic was going to show Gray being interested in cars, like how Starlight loves her Volvere.  He was going to comment on it and they were going to chat about it....

Feeling Good Episode Discussion

This upcoming story arc won't be one of doom and gloom.  It will be one of encouragement and determination.  Don't let the beginnings of this fool you.  As the promo teaser said a few days ago, VINYL WILL BE ELEVATED.   2021 is a new year, and it's time for some good positivity.

Warm And Cozy Episode Discussion

Early Comic! Dirty Hooves!

Thanks to my lighter episode load a week, I had some good time to actually DRAW a fun episode and visually make it silly.  There is so much stuff going in this comic between Twilight, Spike, and Starlight.  We even get a first time appearance from a pony named Cinnamon Chai.  We also get to witness Starlight get intimate with her food again.  As she said before, she is "passionate with food."

I can tell you all right now, that moving to two episodes a week has relieved SO much pressure from me.  I actually have time to think and put more effort into each comic.  I am truly shocked at how much this has made things easier for me.  Thank you everyone for allowing me to do that and not feel pressured to do otherwise.

Scheduling Thoughts?

So as you know, since 2015 we've followed a Mon, Wed, Fri schedule.  If we tried out a two episode a week schedule, would you think it is better to do a Tues / Thurs release schedule as opposed to a Mon/Fri?

Originally I was thinking Monday/Friday but that would allow for too much space in-between days with nothing.

Merry Time Episode Discussion

Mini Roadmap

The Strand Episode Discussion

The best ideas usually come at the weirdest times.  While working, or driving, in the shower, just before bed... This one came to be just before I fell asleep and I had to get up and write it down.  Christmas lights burn out all the time and I don't know why!  I put brand new lights up and already two strings of lights stopped working! Spike's Hands

Don't laugh, I stink at drawing hands... but here is something you may or may not have noticed.  Since AT&F started in 2014, we've always shown Spike with four fingers.  Why?  I don't know.  We became so stubborn through the years we didn't want to change in the name of tradition.  I guess we thought it people would notice, despite how weird and awkward it was sometimes drawing Spike holding stuff with just three fingers.
