Hi! I'm sorry for disappearing for a little bit. With spring and the increasing availability of vaccines, the newspaper has picked up, and I've been doing editing and publishing as well because the office is working with a skeleton crew. So I've had my hands quite full.

Tempest Revisited

Every year or two I resurrect the Tempest series. 

It's a powerful poem based on a powerful series of images made with Photosensualis during a Hurricane in 2016. 

As luck would have it, I broke down between St. Augustine and Tallahassee, where I was traveling to shoot. The AAA driver graciously fudged the numbers so that I would be covered for the entire tow (a little over 300 miles!) I have quite a few $1 patrons, and I appreciate your support! I don't routinely post content at this tier, but since it's been a while, here you go. 

These images were taken by 2nd Life in 2017, in San Francisco ... the same day of the Women's March. I'm wearing my grandmother's robe. It's one of my favorite garments.

Tuesday is publishing day for my paper. I’m one of a skeleton crew who work in actual production since Covid struck. 

I had to do my work remotely from Virginia, which made for a long, exhausting day. 

I‘m now on my way home to Jersey after a nice, brief stay with family.

But these images were made in NorCal on a sunny, warm day, by Photosensualis.

Simple Days

I'm spending a few days visiting my family in Virginia, most of whom I have not seen since Thanksgiving 2019. We celebrated a late Christmas together yesterday. It was lovely. Today we are going to the Appomattox Court House.

It's a cold, dreary day here, and I'm dreaming of warm coastlines and making simple, natural images with my favorite photographers, Photosensualis. 

These images were made in 2018 in Northern California.
