I've really been enjoying Ranking of Kings. I want to try making a big illustration of it one day!

Also, I was able to see Belle recently! We cancelled the tickets we'd pre-ordered due to worries about Covid, but we were able to find a matinee showing at a super dead theater. It was really beautiful! The opening song is too good

"Morning Citrus" Phone + Tablet Wallpaper Set

Morning Citrus

"Something plant-themed" won the wallpaper poll this month, so I drew a kumquat tree! There will be additional versions, too - a bedtime version plus bunnyless versions for those who just want the branches.

I accidentally made the theme of this sketch roundup "just little guys"... These are all based on things that I enjoyed during my visit back home, though!

I feel like I'm finally regaining my motivation post-holidays. I feel like post-new year's I'm always super refreshed and have so many ideas, I hope I can find time to draw all of them!

I've been wanting to do something with this sketch for a while, and I finally found a little time this week! This is dedicated to all the girl's love manga I read as a teen.

I made sure to document this one as I worked, so be on the lookout for a process post in the "Parade" tier this month! I'll be adding this to my print shop soon, too.

"Dollmaker" Full res + PSD + Lineart

The above is just a preview - the downloadable files are attached below. Includes a full res jpeg that can be printed, a full res layered PSD for study purposes, a layered lineart PSD for color practice, and a lineart jpeg at a printable resolution that can be used as a color sheet. Everything is sized at 8.5" x 11", so it can be printed on a sheet of standard printer paper!

Someone suggested drawing clow cards, which I couldn't NOT do, so I wound up sketching a few! I forgot how good the designs are... what's weird is that most of my favorite designs now are designs that I really didn't care for as a kid. I think I was focused on the really cool ones (like the watery) or the critter types (jump, change, dash)

I know something strawberry-related didn't win the phone poll, but I kind of want to make it anyway when I have the time. I'm still kind of in the br...

I've been having a lot of trouble coming up with ideas recently, so my method lately is "just put something down," so sorry if these seem pretty all over the place! I'm hoping the holidays will be like a hard reset for my mind hahah

I drew the Chiyo from memory, so she might be a little off! I'd like to do an Azumanga Daioh print one day, though. I also started watching Haruhi Suzumiya for the first time in over a decade, which is kind of surreal. It feels like some kind of time capsule...

I've had a lot of end-of-year deadlines coming to a head, so this update is just the pet commissions that I drew this week - I'm sorry if that isn't super exciting! (I'm leaving one off because I remembered it's a gift, so I'd rather be safe than accidentally spoil the surprise!)

"Something Ghibli" won the poll, and since someone had previously mentioned wanting a Kiki wallpaper, I went with that for this month's subject! It's getting so cold that I really wanted to make this feel especially warm. I hope you enjoy it!

Since the tablet version is adjusted for a shorter ratio, if you have a shorter phone screen, it might fit better than the taller phone version!

Vintage-Style Pet Commissions

Hi everyone! I've been drawing these little vintage animals recently, and I want to try opening up a couple of preliminary commission slots! These will be a sort of semi-experimental batch where I'll be finalizing the style and size I want to go with, so I'll be offering these at a pre-sale discount; they're $30 apiece. (The official price, which will come later when I open these more broadly, will be higher)

Joy Ride

This was another case of wanting to clean up something from one of my sketchbooks!

I used to hate drawing cars, but once I remembered that cars have faces and can be drawn like funny little characters, I realized that drawing cars is awesome. I should do it more often!
