Scene 4 - Characters Only

Went back and forth on posting this as it is or waiting, but I'm currently finishing up the characters in the rest of the chapter so I'm not doing backgrounds or text right now. There's 1 page missing at the start of this but that's mostly backgrounds.

Is this better than a WIP post? Maybe not- but I thought it was kind of fun :3

It's an important scene since it's the start of the conflict of the story for Honey- it's longer than the other two combined- and spicy scene means spicy artwork, which is harder to do-
And all that means a lot of work for Red to do, but hopefully it sticks the landing <3

This was just a bit of practice for the progression in the visuals, and the design of the tattoo- The tattoo took me about 2 days but it's still not done

Scene 2 - Debt (I'm back)

For those wondering from February 4th to the 14th I was unable to work because I couldn't pay for my medication.

But lemme know your thoughts on the story itself and the direction it's moving in- Again I apologize for the long wait, I basically had to make an entire arc from scratch that goes into the story I originally had planned. I really didn't know how big of an arc this was going to be.

Scene 1 - Reflection

The script is done, and because I had to work backwards to fix the problem I was having with it the script for chapter 2 is done too

It just didn't feel like a cohesive story, and that's because I did something dumb- I never actually introduced any of the characters, so it was never really clear what any of the characters were actually trying to do. Wrapping up 2 loose ends

Both old, first one I had mostly done but it wasn't finished, and the version I had just wasn't working.. so I scrapped the last page to publish the rest of it

The story here is about a traveler's guild escorting a noble on his first 'solo journey' outside of his hometown- He may be an adult but it's his parents that actually pay for everything, so it was his parents that made him wait till a high ranking traveler's guild member to accompany him.

I do this for almost everything I make, the writing itself takes the same approach as the art, where it slowly comes into focus as I continue to work on it. The key moments that hold the story together are the first to be done, and the "details" get filled in towards the end, like specific dialogue

..Or names.... I really suck at names. Like Honey, why Honey...

This was all just mostly today! There's more to it as well, but already Im pretty happy with it even in comparison to the last animation, which I learned a lot from. This'll be getting more polish than the last one for sure, but Im not too worried about it, animation for whatever reason works a lot better with my adhd brain.

I wish there was like an opt in feature for WIP posts, but I figured it was necessary after having a momentary crisis like I did. I'm alright now, and I'm doubling down on this.... I have a really good storyline for this that I genuinely believe in, and I'm sticking to it. I think I've grown enough as an artist and a writer to actually pull this off, or give a really good effort.

I DID finish this, this was kinda fun to do honestly, should I do more animations? I am by no means good at animation, I know just enough to know I don't know what I'm doing and that my skills do not translate one to one - BUT - It was fun, and you guys seemed to like it
