hello I’m alive!!!

hello my dears!!! I’m alive and okay — I’m so sorry I’ve been so radio silent on here these last few weeks. It’s almost a month since Soph’s passing, and I’m still crying about her at random and unexpected times, but every day is a tiny bit easier.

Rehearsals have begun for my play and they’re a hoot !! I’ve got lots and lots of photos from the last month that I’m going to compile into a huge photo diaries for you this weekend. I’ve attached a few photos to this p...

On Friday afternoon, February 28 2025, around 3:30pm, Sophie traveled back to the moon and the stars where she belongs. She fell asleep with her head in my hand, comfy and cozy on her favorite ottoman, lying on the first crochet blanket I ever made, just for her, with me and Ares giving her little pets and telling her how much we loved her the whole while. she’s at home, she’s doing alright !! she’s eating and everything, but I’m still keeping a close eye on her breathing, as that’s the biggest thing I need to monitor. I’m gonna be spending the day on my living room floor working on my lil mushrooms for Gallery Nucleus :-)

sophie update!!!

so I’m at the emergency vet again today watching Sophie as she curls up in her oxygen chamber. she was here overnight and might be here another night, depending on how her breathing improves. it turns out that she has heart failure, meaning that my time with her is limited now, but hopefully with proper medication and a nice calm home, i’ll get a good bit more quality time with her 🥹 this is not wholly unexpected as this is a not wholly uncommon side effect of hyperthy...

no podcast today — soph’s in the ICU

hey yall, there’s gonna be no podcast today. i took soph in to the vet to check out a lil cough she had and they told me to get her to emergency care ASAP as she had some fluid in her lungs; they’re gonna do some diagnostics to see what’s up, but the extra oxygen she’s got right now is keeping her stable. my perfect angel ;-; it could be pneumonia or asthma or a couple other things so i’m just waiting on all the tests and stuff. doc doesn’t seem too panicked ! which i’m grateful...

which icon style do you prefer?

 hey y'all! I'm working on a new set of desktop icons for all my paid patrons, and was wondering which style you like better -- do you like a really clean/graphic icon look, or do you prefer something a lil more organic/sketchy looking?
