tiny post to say HELLO

HI FRIENDS HOW ARE YOU I AM ALIVE and all moved in! the apartment is so beautiful but it's been so sunny here the past few days the single pane windows are leaving me quite warm hahah esp with the great heaters we have! 

i know that i'm late on the february podcast and q+a, but those will be going up this week. it's a busy busy week but i definitely want to get those rewards to y'all. the march rewards will start going up next week!

i realize i've been totally dropping the ball on these full length journaling videos! each video takes about 5 hours to export/upload so i'll be uploading them throughout the week/weekend. here's september's! so we've still got november, december, and the 2018 pwm to go. sorry i've been forgetting to upload these!

life update: the packing begins...

hi friends!! i wanted to type a small life update cause this is a HUGE time of change/stress in my life and i wanted to let y'all know what's up x

i've slowly started cleaning out my apartment to get ready for the move — i've taken like 6 bags of clothes and kitchen stuff to goodwill, and i'm going to go to a place called "crossroads" to try and sell some of my nicer stuff to make a bit of change for it. whatever they don't take i'll take across the street to another local thrift shop...

small rewards update!

HEY FAM SOZ I'VE BEEN MIA i'm frankly super stressed rn cause moving is Stressful and i gotta clean out my apt and finish commissions and i also wanna work on new shop stuff? cause i've not updated my shop stock in like 3 months and it's weighing on me.  my brain is very full and i feel a bit AHHHH but i know that once i'm in my new place in two weeks i will feel LEAGUES better so i'm holding on till then!

HEY FRIENDS welcome to the february sketchbook tour!! this is a whole hodge podge of traditional and digital work — i've taken to doing small requests on twitter every now and then to help me warm up and it has been super helpful! i feel like my artwork is growing a lot rn which is very exciting !! though i realize this means that i'm gonna have to learn how to draw hands properly which is...daunting to say the least guh

hello friends!!! my brain is running a bit dry so i’m wondering what y’all would like in this month’s printable: what kind of stickers you like, a theme perhaps, or what inserts you’re looking for for your journal, etc. comment below, let me know!

(also i cannot begin to tell y’all how relieved i feel now that we’ve put the deposit down on the apt - a huge weight has been lifted from my mind. and now it’s on to the new stressor: the actual move itself! oof oof wish us luck...

WOOOO SKETCHBOOK TIME!! ya girl has been drawing more often which feels very very good. i've been experimenting with some different styles and coloring methods and i'm trying to just embrace the process instead of being like ALERT THIS IS BAD STOP STOP STOP because! ya gotta make bad art to make good art. i'm in a tiny block right now (i'm trying to design my new thank you inserts for orders and i'm having a very hard time) so i'm about to go post up at a cafe and draw a bunch of my friends' ...

here's this month's printable! i've been playing lots of stardew valley so it's a sheet full of veggies and other things that i've got on my little farm :') i also used this as a chance to experiment with another coloring style! trying to find the blend between the clean, thin linework i've been admiring lately with the charming sketchy nature of so many illustrators i love. let me know what y'all think!

so about that project i was working on..

CONNOR AND I WROTE A BOOK! it’s called sustainable loops and is for the creative who wants to get their life together in a lasting way. these are the proof copies (i’ve already found a few places i need to fix some stuff) but this is the first book i have illustrated and designed and it looks SO GOOD AND IM A BIT OVERWHELMED ABOUT IT
