I'm taking a much more casual, direct approach with this in all ways--dialogue, subject, pacing, style.. I want it to feel open, fun, slice-of-life. So far I think I like the feel, hope you guys do too. Its only page 1, but it'll be moving!

$25 pic from January! Sorry it's taken this long--I rarely draw her and so I wanted to do it right.
When I looked at the inks from the last post, I just wasn't happy..the sketch had a much better face, so i went back and re-did it, now, very happy. I gave her long hair, too! See how that feels, I like it. Hope you all can enjoy, Massak certainly is.
Onto comic work I go!!

Sketch tier here are Jan files! I've included the adjusted/final cover for CCF2. Lia looked way too small, but in reality, it was Twix that was too big.
Here's the files from January, more sketches than usual for a payoff that's more colour stuff in Feb, and starting CCF2!

Cats Can Fetch 2 start! I'm going to try and set a pace and get at least 2 pages done, ideally taking a week each. I have a 25$ tier pic to finish, and another they'll pick to vote on. I also have a few more sketches to finalize and share, too! The one other thing I want to get on is a release/poster for SOS, the main scifi comic coming along.
Other than art, I feel I'm pretty steady to get streaming regularly back on, as it was for January. It's not on a specific day of the week, or time of day, but at least it's there! I think I managed 3 or 4 streams for Jan, and thankfully kiddo has been a little more forgiving with taking up time, so there's that, plus at least 2 private streams for the 10$ tier. I'm working on setting up the Discord server, and hope to open that up soon, and shift rewards to there for easier access. I'll still post on Pat/SubStar but Discord is certainly quicker in some ways. FOr some streaming too.
Lastly is the price change will come in March, along with SOS. The sketch and HD tiers just going up by a dollar, I hope is still worthwhile. It will help a lot in supporting me and the fam, as I've never raised prices before, and all this inflation and tariff stuff is gonna hurt. I hope you all will have fun joining me on this paradigm shift, and I'll keep you as up to date as I can! Partially why I want the Discord up, as its a bit more intimate and easier to keep you guys informed too.

For the 25$ tier pic, more than a couple people requested something with Emerald, so I decided to revisit her! I've had this sketch in my files unfinished for a while, so after some surgery and tweaking, I've prettied it up and inked--will give some colour soon, but wanted to finish up January with another piece since it was a bit of a slow start. February will see the tier/price changes I talked about a bit ago, and the Discord server.

Ayn having a little fun with Rorik Ironwill, star breeder, visiting Siania. She just had to know what the fuss was about, and she's hooked.
My part of a trade with Snowskau, took a different kind of approach to sketching with this that leans into refining, rather than seperating the two entirely. I like it so far! Not sure if I'll finish this month as I have to finish others, but am workin on it!

Here this is! I wanted to test out skipping inking entirely. See how that looks/feels..i think it could work? it feels a little messy, I might stick with it for this comic but not sure about the main one, i think just a bit more refinement might be needed somehow.
Also not sold on a title yet, as you can tell..but I am on the story! Unlike CCF1, i like this one already and know exactly where it will go and how long. I was mistaken earlier, I said 24pg, it's actually 18pages. It's a little quick-moving, but I want to try a quicker pace than Pred2, and we have some setup for it since it takes place pretty soon after CCF1.

The next comic is Cats Can Fetch 2! (actual title pending)
It will be 24pg, is entirely planned out already, and will start next month! Starring Nytro, Twix, and Lia, it takes place shortly before the main comic, which should start either Feb or March!
The goal is to have the main comic and these NSFW ones run side by side...so that being said, going to be playing with styles here a little bit to try and find something that lets me -do- all that. TLDR: Not going to be as refined as say, Pred2, but hopefully lively and fun, for both!

Drogoz, from Paladins. Added colour as a test.
In the midst of doing a lot of heavy planned art, I'm actually still pulling from the request form despite not having a new one for a while recently. I have a lot of loose, unifnished sketches that really are not even up to quality of sharing. I think I did share this one a little bit ago, but I wanted to test something with colour:
For future comics, I don't want to have to leave it greyscale to save time. I'd rather let the colouring be a little loose and the ink a little loose, without losing too much from either. So in a quick-colour style, I'd likely throw down a flat base and then colour a little on top. This picture is a bit more refined than that, but the idea is there. I'll see how it looks with my next comic that I'm starting up.

SOS
The big reason a lot of you are here, other than butts. SOS is the shorthand for my scifi comic. Unlike where I said I'd surely begin in 2024, I am starting this year, and soon. I'd say in the first quarter. It's a long-form comic, scifi space opera with a set beginning and end. It will be rated R for adult themes and violence but nothing exorbitantly graphic or lewd. The plan is to release pages to my sites/Discord first, and publicly after. Speaking of which...
Discord
Just as I said I would in 24 but didn't, I will be making a Discord server for my comics and stuff. It will also be the primary reward-delivery platform. I'm lurking on a LOT of other artists' servers, so I think I have some good examples of how to organize it to what I want. I understand most people are probably in like, a thousand servers already, so I plan to keep it simple, brief, and focused on my work and we'll see where it goes from there.
Tiers
Reworking basically my entire workflow and goals will mean adjusting the tiers...both in rewards a little, and price a little. I've noticed many other artists have their lowest tiers at 2 USD for tips/sketches and 6 USD for HD, comics and the like... I've had my same 1/5USD prices set for ... 10 years now, and in that time, I've never raised it--I'm hoping people will see the +1 dollar extra as an understandable adjustment and won't mind...but I also understand that every dollar counts, so if it's an issue for some folks, let me know and I can try to reconsider and hope that the 1/5 won't bite me in the butt... 10 and 25 remain the same, but admittedly I've been falling short on a few of the rewards there, so an increase wouldn't feel justified. The rewards should be as:
$2 - Tip Jar/sketches. Non-coloured(B+W), web-res sketches, shared early. Still can vote on some polls.
$6 - HD files for all illustrations, comics, extras posted early. Voting on most polls.
$10 - PSD files for all illustrations and work, albeit a lower-than-work-resolution. *.clip files for comic pages as well, If people are interested? Access to high-tier streams, which I know I've been lacking on, but believe I can do more reliably this year than previous, due to kiddo less demanding.
$25 - Extras such as cameos in backgrounds will be actually more frequent and easier to do given there a lot of scenes and stuff where that can happen in the main scifi comic, and sometimes the extra comics. Also access to occasional, special-level input posts and discussions such as the direction of comics, work, or others. I was also thinking of adding something else to this tier, like an art-feedback option. I can't do one-on-one teaching, but the next best thing would be like, redlines or assitance with artwork. Something like 2x a month you can submit to me something you're working on and need some help with, or a fresh set of eyes on. This would be easier done in the Discord server.
Bonus Comics
So the plan is for me to run the main scifi comic and a bonus comic at the same time. These adult comics would make the adult portion of the graphic content, seperate and optional from the main story so it could remain more SFW. But this category would see both scifi related and other comics, like one-offs and Predators and such. They would just be done in a more loose and forgiving style to accommodate the two comics being run. It would take time away from some other types of art and projects, but I think would be rewarding in its own way.
Streams
The way I see streams working is split three ways -- SFW and game-stuff would be on Twitch, while NSFW art on Picarto and/or Discord server, along with the private stream stuff for the higher tiers. I'll experiment a bit with these, but I would like to start with a goal of at least 1 public stream per week, and at least 1, ideally 2, high-tier for the 10+25 tier streams. I'll see what's easiest for everyone, either Picarto or Discord on that regard, but it's a reward I've been most meaning to get back on the ball with.
I know it's hard to schedule these or plan in advance, so I'll wait on any kind of promise with that just yet--but the goal would be a consistent schedule for both. I figured the inconsistent schedule had one advantage, that of being more people could possibly make them, if the normal times disallowed it.

Continuation sketch of Warning meeting Symat! He's quiet, but knows body language, and as a communications anthroid, Warning wants to know all about that...
I shared this sketch a while ago, and coloured it on-stream the other day. Put some fun finishing touches and happy with the result! I need/want to get used to more of these quick, finish-unfinished-stuff projects, cause man there's a lot. and hopefully it's fun content for you guys too!

Not every year I get to do one, but I want to try my best. This sort of style was trying to balance a simpler bg+ delicate inks+simpler colours to see what that looked like. It was interesting, and I like the result, but i think some other approaches work better with that kind of ink, or that kind of colouring. Enjoy! Thank you guys!

Hey you! Guess what! It's December, which means that it's blue, ice-cat O'Clock! In lieu of a poll, I just want to hear what you all have to say about some of these updated Vikna doodles! They're some older ones that I thought still had a lot of potential, so I reworked and made them the best I could into what I thought made them good in the first place, and a little more on-model with the current Vik. (until her ref sheet, i think the Daki sketch is a good place to start, and is the most accurate)

It's been a while since I've drawn these two...it's actually been a while since I've drawn a lot of hardcore stuff, tbh, it's been nice getting back into it more! Had fun with this and liked how it came out. Voted by $25 tier for November.
Nytro and Warning i feel have a very specific back and forth 'sex' relationship, so I try to nail the dialogue down just as specifically. The idea that she likes his play sessions for specific reasons, learning about it, amuses me. Sure, she's played with VST, but he's also a different vibe, and if anything, I want my character pairings to each have their own vibes, cause otherwise everyone's just a dick or a hole, and that's no fun.
