Celebrating my project finally reaching ten thousand stars!

It has been approximately three years and three months since the project began. At the two-year-and-two-month mark, I reached 5,000 stars, and after another year and one month, I’ve finally hit ten thousand!

Looking back at the journey—through every iteration, every refinement, and the accumulation of over 180,000 lines of code that the project now retains—this milestone feels especially meaningful.

All that persistent effort has led here, and I’m truly overjoyed!

Emulator game HOOK support has reached a new milestone

As of now, the number of games supported across all major emulators has exceeded one thousand (1,043) and is still growing: Switch (350), PSP (319), PS Vita (153), PS2 (221). 🤗

High-precision, high-speed unlimited OCR module for Japanese-Chinese-English

1. Download the sub module, place it in the directory "LunaTranslator/ocrengines", reopen the software

2. activate OCR engine "Youdao Dictionary", and start using it.

In my experience, this OCR works very well for most visual novels. And most importantly, it's both extremely fast and stable.

Icon Changed

I've decided to change the program icon because the previous one came across as way too suggestive (mysterious blush), sometimes maybe making people hesitate to use it in public settings... The new one has such a pure, sacred vibe - I'm completely in love with it! In fact, I've already set it as my profile picture across all my social media platforms.🥰

Fixing the use of system speech recognition & natural voice TTS for LunaTranslator on Win11

Microsoft quietly updated the system's built-in speech recognition and natural voice TTS models, making them inaccessible to third-party applications. To restore the use of system speech recognition and natural voice models in LunaTranslator, manually add the following keys in userconfig/config.json:

LunaTranslator can hook a wide range of games on NS/PSP/PSV/PS3 through emulator.
