Here's the last chapter cover for book 1!
The flower that floats above Sulvain's head will have more significant meaning as we learn more about his past in future chapters~ It's an important aspect related to his necromancy and he wears it on his silver pin.
We tried to make the colors a bit more ominous for this chapter as it takes a bit of a darker turn.
We'll have more early pages next week as we finish up the chapter. We're aiming for a release date of June 7th for ...

We have a new design for the postcards going out next month! Someone suggested ancient times so we put Raziol in Mughal period clothing and Sulvain in Byzantine period (Since his ancestry goes back to that empire)
We'll get it colored this week! (Hopefully! Fingers crossed!) And a new bonus comic page is coming soon! :D

Raziol is getting a new outfit in the next part of Chapter 5~
We're not sure about the sash yet. We really like it but we're not sure if it has any significant meaning or if it might be related to the military. We just thought he looked cute in it XD~
The faces on the side are what I (Kate) use as reference when I'm drawing his face~ I tend to make a new reference sheet every time we start a new chapter since the way I draw him changes slightly as I draw more~

We finally did it!
Sulvain would, of course, be writing in French, so this would be a modern translation in English.
In this scene he is shopping for Chinese medicine to help with Raziol's head and back pains.

J: Inking one of the bonus comic panels. Ah, you can tell that I'm unsure of my lines half of the time haha...
It's sped up to 2x (I don't ink that fast :3)
Again, I'm using the ball point pen brush that can be found here! I ink in Manga Studio / Clip studio (My version still says manga studio XD) because I enjoy the feel of their brushes and pens~
We were doodling some sticker designs over the weekend! They'll probably make good acrylic charms too :D
We're going to be making some of these stickers hopefully in April for Constellation Patrons as a bonus~
Looking forward to making some cute prop stickers as well, like stars, telescopes, teapots, incense burners etc! And if you have any suggestions, let us know! <3
