Honestly I kind of regretted not adding the hammer, but I was so afraid of ruining the pose that I just kept it as it is, the client was happy and it looks good, but maybe in the future I'll revisit this subject.

The outfit is based on what he's wearing while fighting Hulk in the arena, right after his haircut... In the comics I love long haired Thor, but in the movies i was so happy when they got rid of that crunchy wig!

So my approach for the wings was separating them in 3 main rows of feathers, I use some photos of eagles and owls to get the colors right, then I started adding details one row at the time, and in the end I added one more coat of a blue-ish highlight in some areas.

In the early days, Hank wasn't blue, he looked more like a caveman, now the blue furry version is widely known and very  picturesque.

I've made an in-between design and I think he looks sexy! we know he's about 6'6 and 250 lbs of pure muscle, but in the inside he's a sensitive nerd that loves literature and science... totally my type lol.
