I made this post on social media gathering all the times I've added little heart shaped details and highlights in my illustrations, some are more subtle than others. Its started as a fun little accent and now is a staple in my coloring style... a lot of people didn't even notice 😆😆😆 but I love them 🥰🥰🥰

I'm back from my little new years' break.. Actually I was back to work since last week, but I'm finally back on track with the fuhrerdoodles! And I'm very excited about this new portrait, I've been trying to do my own rendition of Hellboy for a while, I was trying to have it ready for Halloween... LOL it didn't happen. But anyways, it's finally coming together and it's going to be very cool (I hope).

Coloring Santa

I got the inspiration for the brows from Mr. Big from Zootopia 😆😆😆 and the rosie cheeks and fancy beard are heavily influenced by the classic Coca Cola adds painted by Haddon Sundblomin the 1930's.

At first I wanted to make the fur to be like a polar bear or a reindeer, but I think that would be too cruel LOL fun fact: I've never had the American hot cocoa with marshmallows, we have different holiday drinks in Mexico but I might try it this year 🤔🤔🤔

I think this is the most Christmassy thing I've ever made, I totally took the Coca Cola Santa as reference and I started it long before I knew David Harbour was playing Santa in "Violent Night"... so I think we have that option for next year 😅😅😅

Hello friends. This year I actually made a proper sexy Santa 😅

I wanted to have a very classic Christmas artwork that screamed "fuhrerdoodles" and I think I made it... WYT?

Instead of the red suit I gave him a fur coat and a jockstrap and I'm very happy with the overall look, I also made the different versions including "Au naturel" This was so much fun, I really enjoyed creating the background and the Hot cocoa mug with marshmallows and I tried a new technique for the fur and ...

Coloring Indy - Full

I used a very warm palette for his face, a lot of blushing and pink-ish shadows to mimic the 80's poster vibe, I love how the highlights bring everything together in the end.

After adding the hard lights I went back and blended a little more in some areas so the skin wouldn't look too choppy, and I added a lot of texture to the stubble to make it very messy and sexy 😉

Coloring Indy 1

I love how you can tell what era an action hero comes from... in the 1980's nobody had botox, actors had lines and bumps since their early 30's, like a normal human does 😅😅😅

Is so helpful for me to be able to understand why some parts of the face look the way they do, and Harrison Ford has a very recognizable expression that I was able to build from the forehead down, using all the natural lines available.

For the background I used a very classic Art-Nouveau structure but tried to make it like the movie posters, I love those old time adds hand painted by some of my personal heroes like Drew Struzan and Adam Huges. I did use Stock files for the plants, I don't like to draw plants 😆😆😆

Remember that song: You can leave your hat on? yeah that's how I feel about this character 😅😅😅 without it is just Han Solo for me, nothing wrong with that (in fact there's a Han Solo drawing happening soon) is just a different vibe, and the Indiana Jones vibe is important for me, for... reasons LOL.

I tried to give him that "natural" body hair that was trendy in the 80's and of course the marvelous tan, and vigorous complexion 😆😆

Hello friends, I'm super happy to finally share this new portrait.

Dr. Jones is one of my childhood heroes, and my appreciation for him changed throughout the different stages of my life... you know, at first is like a fun action hero, then I started to understand the jokes, realizing how impressive those movies are (I still think about the face melting scene from Raiders) and then one day, after puberty I'm rewatching Temple of Doom and Damn!! yes Daddy 😅😅😅

Hello friends, in honor of Chris Evans been named "Sexiest man alive" for People Magazine, I'm bringing back this Commission from 2019... Captain America as seen in the first movie, not nakie version tho 😅 The commission was requested with the tighty whities on.

Coloring Oliver

This process was very straight forward.... Stephen Amell is a very handsome man with a very symmetrical face and I just stick to the frontal lighting with a side rimlight and a soft reflect on the muscles. I think is very flattering cause they look kinda wet, the eyes were my favorite, and the hair was my least favorite part, short staight hair is not my favorite hair texture to draw cause is not very forgiving and I had to re do it a few times to get it right 😅
