Was listening to Laurie Anderson and decided to make a motherly figure for Starburst! I wanted her to be very nostalgia & imaginary friend coded, but also have a Godly feel (hence the gold wings), I'm not sure if she's Starburst's birth mother or adoptive mother but either way I think this character will be a good outlet for me <3

I really like emo type characters on all fours, like sparkledogs from old dA days, so I was excited to draw Starburst in this style!

warm up sketches!!! the decapitated one was supposed to be for a ref sheet comm, but i got the body type wrong and then had too much fun rendering so i just kinda made a shaded headless armless body. got crazy thighs tho

lately i've been practicing more anime-y "moe" style eyes, i've been really inspired by art styles similar to Lucky Star & old anime fanart you see online!!! I'm hoping I can achieve something that looks like it'd be ur pfp on google plus back in the day :P
