Cvitanic took nude photos last year when I was in Washington state. He pretty rarely does nude photographs, but we tried a few. It was not as cold as it looks either - maybe 60 degrees that day. But we were in the mountains, and the portions in the shade had unmelted snow. About 100 feet away was a field of blooming wildflowers though :)

I arrived in Ottawa last night and was so exhausted I thought I'd order Chinese food. Normally when I travel, I buy groceries and live off of them for the duration of a trip. Usually this involves getting a bag of some bread-type thing for breakfast with a jar of peanut butter/honey, some yogurt (greek yogurt with no added sugar won't spoil as long as it remains unopened so it's pretty safe to take anywhere), a few vegetables, rice/noodles, a tin of coffee and a bag of trail mix. I pick up meat ...

Okay, so due to all of the recent legislation, I've realized that I might not be able to really post nude work, even censored, anywhere. Painting from my last session with Dinka Doll

This is oil paint on watercolor paper. Very much not technically correct. And I’m on mobile so I can’t upload all of them from this class, but I forgot to share one and wanted to do that quickly while I remembered. Also, I have been sent several photo sets recently from models who I’ve posted here who, like myself, also take photos. Canada!

I’m currently in Toronto. I had a bit of traveling outside of the city today to shoot, and I’m now being lazy. I should go to the grocery, but I’m laying on the couch because I’m tired. I’ll be updating again soon though! Tomorrow I’m shooting all day, then all day Sunday, and thankfully only half the day on Monday. I’ll have time on Monday to post more photos that I’ve been taking as well :)

Today. Journal. April 14, 2018.

Today I paid a LOT of money to the government in taxes. It feels like a lot. It was quite a bit over my monthly rent, so there was that. This is not the most fun part of my day. 

My phone is also having a major glitch, so I'm going to have to go to the local repair shop - which is always fun considering how many nudes are on my phone. I always think they must look through the photos...I don't see how you would not look. If I was working at a store like that, I definitely would look, which...

Journal. April 10, 2018.

It's spring, finally! Sort of...yesterday was all clouds and gloom. Today is supposed to have the sun, and I'm planning to do self portraits if it cooperates. When it's cloudy, my apartment tends to stay a bit dark, so accomplishing any work of any value with a camera set across the room on a tripod becomes very difficult. And I still have never come around to using studio lights, so I try to work when the sun is out. 

I've been enjoying being home a bit. I've been here since getting back...

From painting session on Sunday

These were a few sketches (and a painting) I did in a drawing session on Sunday afternoon. I've kept going to the drawing sessions, which I also model for about once per month, and I don't know if I'm improving at all but it's fun so that's what counts for me at this moment in time.

A short story...

I was on facebook today, and a post reminded me of something I did when I was younger. I thought I'd quickly write it here.

When I was a sophomore in college, my boyfriend at the time was visiting his family in Kansas. I hope you like all of these! I actually took pictures of The Bean in Chicago this time! I've been to Chicago so many times and not taken photos of it, which seems ridiculous. Even if it is cliche. 

Journal. April 2, 2018.

It's strange to think it's already April...I think especially in the past few weeks I've somewhat lost track of time for some reason. I'm working on putting together March's book, and I just sent out prints today. I got home from Chicago, and my sleep schedule has been completely bizarre for the past few days. I edited all of the travel photos (almost 200 of them haha), and those will be posted tonight.

I actually need to start looking for an apartment to move into in June - I'm moving to Jers...

Travel Photos, Prints, Books

I am currently putting together this month's travel folder of photos along with designing the book. I am sending out prints and other materials as soon as they arrive. The place I order prints from sent an email saying they are closed for the Passover, but I received an email update that the prints have already been shipped despite that (how, I do not know...I guess they weren't closed after all).

But yes! I will keep everyone updated, and the travel photos will be up soon!
