Messy Hair.

Because I usually forget to take any selfies at all. And on the rare occasion I remember to take one, I forget to post it. So today, I have done both things!

On the way to Chicago

This was the scene from the train station in Wisconsin. It looked so ominous. I’m on my way to Chicago now after a packed schedule in Milwaukee and Racine, Wisconsin. I’ll have some free time on Monday and Tuesday though, and I’m going to visit some museums! And update more here as well. :)

I did a set of poses that I occasionally do for drawing classes - though, not quite as strenuous and I don't suck in my stomach at drawing classes. I don't know how much anyone knows about drawing classes, but I model for quite a lot of them and really enjoy it. I got the date correct this time around (I missed it by about a month on my last entry for whatever reason). Apparently I had so much fun I forgot what month I was in...

This will be a pretty quick entry - which can be expanded on tomorrow or the next day.

I'm in Washington DC currently, attending a ball with my sister! We rented these incredibly expensive dresses, which are of course too long for us. I'm 4'11" and she is about 5'3"...so both pretty small people. Apparently a size 0 petite is not my size. Oh well.

I photographed a model the other day, and then went to a dinner and had all sorts of shenanigans afterwards. I rarely go out, I rarely go out ...

I had several new people sign up, and I finally reached my goal to be able to buy a new lens for my camera - a 45mm so that I can do better portraits :)

So, thank you to everyone who supports me here, and helps me be able to afford to get wardrobe for photos, buy flowers for them, have a camera (because that was something I was able to get through support here...I started out with my phone), get instant film, etc. Not to mention the peace of mind it gives me financially to have the freedom to ...

I have discovered!

I love to shoot through trash!

I know that sounds weird...but seriously, garbage/plastic wrappers/etc make very nice things to crumple around with and shoot through. Though focusing can become an issue...I have new photos I will be uploading soon though! I worked with Dakota Snow again today, and I completely forgot that I also have not uploaded my set of Masha yet! So, I will be uploading both before the weekend :)

Travel Folder

I’ll be posting my travel folder tonight. I would have sooner, but I just got electricity back in my apartment after a storm knocked it put sometime very early this morning. And I cut my forehead pretty badly haha...though that was my own fault completely.

Today...

I went to the grocery store today, and they did not have my favorite salad dressing on the planet (Olive Garden signature Italian...yes, I know that's lame, I do not care). So I ordered it off the internet. I ordered four bottles of salad dressing off of the internet today. 

I'm also editing travel photos tonight to post on the $5 level. Yes. While watching bad movie reviews on youtube of movies I have not seen (mostly because I fell asleep trying to watch them).

I'm currently booking Chicago. I'm currently wondering why I am going to Chicago. I'm currently regretting that I decided to go to Chicago. Again. After a weird, emotionally draining experience last May.

For me, this journal entry will be an overshare...I'm very bad at oversharing, and it can often begin to sound like a police report in terms of the writing style as I try to emotionally distance myself from the things I'm writing down. I apologize in advance if it begins to sound that way.

Sheba | Set Previews

Sheba (Blueriverdream) organized a small get together the other day at a local photographer's studio, and I got to photograph her for the second time - and the first time with a real, dignified camera. She was one of the first models I photographed, and one of the first I ever posted on my patreon. I'm happier with these compared to the last time we worked together as well.
