AFTERDARK - FULLY ANIMATED SHOT (comp test)

SIZZLE REEL COMP TEST!! For the final look of the film we are going with textured line art to match the scratchy vibe of the BGs + some soft depth shadows.

Because of the nature of this style, I can't do all the heavy compositing I wanted to, since blurs and glows look uncanny on such crunchy backgrounds. So,,,, the BGS will just have to speak for themselves without any effects animation (I hope they do).

One day time shot, and two night time shots! Two more night time city paints to go and I'm done BGs!!! 😭😭😭 The last one with the buildings was supposed to take four hours max, it took 10 and a half 😨Hopefully I can chug through the other ones relatively okay ( I worry it'll be another 10 hours for each for the two left) we just have to cross our fingers and hope I can get it all done for the Tuesday handin,,,

Nova Server’s October Art Request

Starting off the first of -hopefully many- monthly requests, the Nova tier discord server has used their power for evil this month to request Charlie in an inflatable dinosaur suit for Halloween 😨 I threw in a proper couple costume drawing because I felt it was necessary. Every month, the council will congregate together in the monthlies channel and come up with an art request idea together. I wonder what next month’s will be. I hope you guys get a kick out of this 😭🥀🥀
