Quick LDIT Update!

Hey peeps! Big succ scene coming up, dropped a whole new minute's worth of animation in the MEGA folder whole thing's measuring up to be around 5-6 minutes just by itself.

Viewport render of the lads getting down as well as some cleaned up expo shots of the landscape. I'll be dropping another extended preview soon with editing, and the last before I finish the film entirely, I'm ready to show off my next big project. :3

Will be uploading some more succ scene on Tuesday, IRL's been keeping me pretty busy alas, but I'm determined to show more of these boys getting their sexy dues.

Stellar Surf Epilogue Animation Progress

Hey peeps! Just uploaded a ton of new animation with Griff and Coby's ending scene (In MEGA under WIPS, Stills and Extras\LDIT_StellarSurf_Previews\STELLAR SURF PART TWO). There's been a fair few progress shots at this point from me, know that I've been hard at work since I got back, and you'll have a ton of new sexy shots soon with the lads~ (post coming in the next day or so)

Late November I can see as a realistic time to complete and put out the film at this point; it's just really been putting all the pieces together and managing renders and scenebuilds. Yes, it's been much longer than I'd like, but I think the wait will be worth it. ;)

Look out for something with Otto, my little Orc mage fella for Orctober (alongside some BIG BEEFY KNIGHTS)

Furthermore, my December roadmap for animations to work on will include Mauga and Reinhardt's Samoa Smash aaaaaand the Helldivers trio (two that I'd planned to be medium length shorts in of themselves). Lots to do! You'll hear from me sooooooon!

Griff, Coby, and the FRIEND-SHAPED™ ORB

LE-0! LE-0! LE-0! LE-0! GOD DAMNIT! - Captain Clayton Vice

A cute little friend-shaped orb that I made for Griff and Coby's epilogue scene, meet LE-0! (Land Exploration Rover Mark Zero) He may look small, but little guy knows how to traverse some wicked harsh terrain and hold his own! He'll be teaming up with the lads at the end of Stellar Surf Part Two, and into Stellar Surf: Elysium next year :D

I will be away until the 23rd visiting family in the UK (long overdue), but have some SWEET new renders ready for you guys once I come back ;)

LORE DUMP BELOW for those who care about the little guy ;)

Assigned to Captain Clayton Vice by his commanding officer during his tenure as a FARMA scout pilot early in his career, LE-0 (Land Exploration Rover Mark Zero) initially came to much of the scorn of his station. Deemed unimpressive and small, Clayton was envious of his fellow military members having access to more powerful looking drones and software. His CO reminded him that the "best things in life come in small packages", not informing Clayton that LE-0 was indeed a prototype of a much more clandestine scout drone model, sacrificing raw military power for a diminutive frame and incredible sensors. Over time, with many surprising successes, Clayton eventually took LE-0 to heart and deemed him more than capable at traversing both uneasy terrain, and a charming personality core. Even with offers of more powerful military-oriented "standard" drones as he was promoted, Clayton kept him in service after growing attached. Several years of personal tinkering at Clayton's behest outfitted LE-0 into rivalling any of his modern peers in the current FARMA exploration drone rotation, notwithstanding his nostalgia for his pilot era.

Entrusting LE-0 as a backup for Griff and Cobalt, should anything go awry with their mission (BIG SURPRISE), Clayton emplaced him in a satellite drone care package for the two to help assist their land survey operations.

Monthly Review with the Cap ;)

Captain Vice makes sure to keep a monthly "morale" review with his newest lieutenants Griff and Coby. While he doesn't mind the unorthodox challenge of pointed dialogue from his subordinates, he makes it clear that any endurance test is to be strictly adhered to. >:3

Thanks for voting on these poses with the lads getting absolutely DRENCHED! Also wanted to try a slightly different style for my renders, so you may see more of these in the future with other works~ (this is definitely not the last of Clayton's endurance training with the boys...)

Stuck in the Closet with Shaxx (WIP)

A little animation with my favourite Destiny daddy on the side while I work on the film! Lucky little guardian wanted a 1v1 with Shaxx's cheeks, but the Tower's packed today...what a shame.

Progress and New Tech Updates

Hey peeps!

I've been spending the past month or so rekitting a lot of the things I'm doing for animation production. New materials and shaders (improved textures, like sweat and wrinkle maps, see Captain Clayton below :3), better physics simulations and environments, and motion capture!

Yes, it does mean I've taken a little longer than I would have liked to release Part Two of Stellar Surf, but there's good reason, and I sure as hell haven't been twiddling my thumbs!

A lot of time has also been going into the new UI design for interfaces present in the film, as well as improvements to Clayton's bath water sims (not currently sold, he's got too much paperwork to get in on that market)

An early ref of the pullout mobile workstation Clayton has in his tub (just in case shit hits the fan on his hour off)

And a complete overhaul of Griff and Coby's shuttle UI from Part One. I decided I would prefer a more detail than what the SFM model offered, and wanted to improve my HUD skills also for other interfaces in the future.

Something I've been striving particularly for in the past few months is a set of better rigs for my boys. Improving facial rigging/tails/jiggle physics has been my priority over the past summer, and the results have been promising thus far.

PAR EXAMPLE with widdle Gwiff (raw data with minimal cleanup, face courtesy of the boyf)

Combining my custom shapekeys alongside the mocap also has the added benefit of making the pair truly expressive.

On Coby's new facial rig here, the raw cleaned data before any additional animation.

And after, the changes may appear subtle, but significantly improve his characterisation. A nice balance of performance capture augmenting my traditional techniques has excited me the most.

I really appreciate all of your support on this major project thus far. It's been incredibly ambitious in retrospect, with its ups and downs, but I've loved being able to improve my workflow for better quality furry spaceman bara. As far as the release date goes, I'm really sorry for the delay on Part Two. I'm a bit behind on my June release, real life commitments sometimes kick you like that. If I'm being brutally honest, I've been suffering a little bit of burnout the back end of June. This project's been a lot of fun, but I'm trying to keep as much of my ambition with the boys in realistic scope with my machine (and my obsession with pretty backdrops)

I'll do my best to keep a steady stream of updates as more of the animation gets completed. More longer scene previews soon as I get all the cinematic and sex scenes squared away. The WIPs folder will be updated regularly with both.

Hey peeps! A little sound pass of the first minute of Stellar Surf Part Two featuring Griff and Coby's Captain Clayton Vice. Been experimenting and recorded a good bit of foley for this one. Viewport render for now before VFX/motion/subdiv pass so I can get this out quick. Hope you don't mind soft size 15s in your face~
