Here's the Patreon reward for October, the prototype of sex club concept. This could be a means of meeting new prospects in Fleshcult 2. I'm evaluating it to see if it's fun and sexy.

The sex club prototype is almost ready, but I'm gonna miss my estimated release date of the end of this week. I'll definitely have something to show next week.

October Reward Announced

This October I'm going to release the first prototype of potential Fleshcult 2 game mechanics. 

The idea: you run an underground sex club and lure a variety of visitors by buying and upgrading different installations. Pick from standards such as jacuzzis and bondage gear to sybians, milking machines and much more fanciful things. Discover which things lure which visitors. September Reward Timing

It's looking like I'll have the September build out at the end of next week. I wanted to have it out on the first, but I've been spreading myself too thin lately. I'm sad to say that the story events are still just a mess of outlines, so that'll slip into October.

I got side-tracked working on the built-in editor. All I wanted to do was add a Load From File button! But I was hampered by my fake web stuff not handling file "uploads" at all well.

August Reward Release Timing

In the next few days I'll be releasing the August reward. Here's what's in it:

Code Modding Progress

In non-patreon news, I've also been planning out code mods. Specifically I've been reading up on Python's import machinery and different approaches to monkey patching. Monkey patching is a much-derided programming technique where you rewrite or add to portions of the code while the program is running. If this sounds crazy, it sorta is, but it'd really give modders the run of the place. It'd be a good fall back for situations where more formal extension hooks don't exist.

Contract Work

This week a lucrative piece of contract work landed in my lap. Seeing as the Patreon is a ways off funding a full restart of Fleshcult development, I took the gig. The client's in an awful rush and it has overtime written all over it. Realistically I don't think I'll be able to restart progress on the game until mid-November at least, possibly longer depending on how long it'll take me to decompress from the crunch.

This is the part where I'd like to announce a new release, but instead I'm announcing that I've spent the last 3 weeks wrecked by viral tonsillitis. Woo! Progress towards the client-side version

Release v1.01

This update lets me grant backer rewards such as cheats and ad-free play.

There's no new content in it though. That comes in v1.02, where I'll be adding the long-awaited Infestation Tome. I promised that in the original OffBeatr campaign, so I'm going ahead with that regardless of how this Patreon does.
