I Live Again

So like three hours after the last post, the computer guy called me and let me know shit what was the problem, and then later in the day let me know it was fixed

So today we went in and paid for it and I'm back

If you haven't already figured out from the continued lack of updates - shit is still fucked.

I've seemingly run into an endless stream of shit-goes-wrong-whenever-it-can (Isn't that like.. murphey's law or some shit? Anything that can go wrong will), as all of these set-backs, and then as I've given my computer to the guy I wanted to give it to in the first place - Apparently his workload was massive right when I needed it to be the opposite

Update 4(?) Hell

Okay, so last I posted an update I had taken the computer into the shop and let them tinker with it and they said that it was the mobo, so I got a new mobo (since they wanted $350 to buy a $250 mobo and $100 to put it in)

Apparently? It wasn't the mobo! Got a new mobo, put it in, and its still fucked. Spent a day or two trying to unfuck it, no avail. Busted.

So it's in another shop, took it in on monday (the shop I originally wanted to take it in to), the guy is definitely hel...

Computer Update 4

I have the motherboard!

But! I do not have THERMAL PASTE

So I can't make the switch, since I can't actually swap the CPU over without replacing the paste. 

Thermal paste should be here thursday. Hopefully I'll be up and running again thursday.

Just got off the phone with the computer shop, good news! It was JUST the motherboard that pooped itself and died

They wanted 250$+1hr pay to replace the motherboard with one they were ordering, though I opted out of that as I just need something to tie me over until AMD puts out their new boards/CPUs. So I ordered a new mobo on two day shipping. 

I should be able to get the computer back tomorow, and the mobo the day after. Hopefully this is done and over and I can get back to work...

VR Poll

Something I've been sort of toiling about in my head recently is that I have a personal want to get into this and work with this and create things in VR, but I'm far from sure how many people that follow me actually have/like VR content, especially non-interactive loop content.

This may or may not influence much, since I at least personally want to do some VR stuff, but if lots of you do want/have VR gear and like VR, then I could see about putting more effort towards VR content

Update 2

Yesterday I got my tower into the shop, they're looking at it and I should know in a few days how much it's going to cost to fix it. Depending, I might end up having them replace the parts, or I might order my own, or I might do both just so I can access the computer as soon as I can. 

Unless they'd have to order the parts themselves, then I might as well just order them all myself since it'd take the same amount of time

Thanks to everyone that maintained their pledge even though my computer is completely busted right now and I can't post or render any actual content, I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to either the motherboard or the power supply that's the cause, though I would still probably want to take it in to a computer place to have them check it out and tell me exactly what parts are just completely fucked and need to be replaced, I'm going to to my best to start looking for shop around town that I c...

However I will need to, next time, find a way to get the head out of the way as that ruins a bit of it. and get a better body!

There has been a lot of just rendering these past few days, once I get that second graphics card things should be coming out a lot faster, right now I have to either render or use the computer which is causing a bit of slowness with it. But once I get a second card I'll be able to render 24/7 with no impact on my normal computer usage

More updates

I'm going to be stepping my game up even further - I'm going to be getting a second GPU which should help my rendering times even more

On top of that, I'll be getting access to a VR headset that should hopefully not be awful for me. Which means I'll be wanting to experiment with VR/stereoscopic animations

So, if anyone here has an animation they'd like to see done in that sort of deal, to help test out these settings with me let me know!

I was able to start working on it again during yesterday's stream. Got up to and including the first penetration mostly finalized and I'm working on rendering out a full res wip of the whole intro

Iset body WIP

Well it went a day without another vote, so Lethal squeezed a victory out of the poll by a vote. I've got the body set up mostly and just need to scale a few things a bit better(See: the arm cloth!) 

I might also give her some ankh piercings like DMG, since that area is feeling pretty lonesome. I'll also keep these presets saved in a different file, so if something comes up I can use one of the other bodies easily by just loading it onto the preset

Iset Body Size

I feel like doing some Vindictus stuff again, so I figured that to ease myself back into it I could do something with the chocolate goddess Iset. However! I don't have a good body for her , so I ask you - Which of these bodyshapes do you think she should have? Don't worry about the skintone, I can take care of that easily
