An update on the crash introduced in 1.74: There is hope!

EDIT: A fix has been figured out, implemented, and just needs fine tuning. A bug bounty was paid out for this - yet another reason why your Patreon support helps make LL:E better and better!

So it looks like the Spectre crash introduced in 1.74 may be a memory issue in the engine.

Lmao guess who forgot to remove test / debug spawns from the mod again

Bugfixes:

  • Removed test spawns from all levels of The Workshop.

  • Properly included Spectre spawns in Cove and Ruins dungeons.

  • Fixed an improper reference to Cultist Brawlers in the mash files for the Workshop.

ActorDoT Progress

Things are coming along well! I have to manually adjust skins and animations for each supported heroine, but now they can fit each specific skin!

Upsides:

  • It looks fucking awesome.

  • It works on modded classes that are supported by LL:E too!

Downsides:

  • Each heroine can only have one skin-tone or it stops making sense.

And then once it's entirely implemented in-game the colossal job of creating, mixing, and implementing audio for every enemy, attack, curio, corridor, quest, trap, hero, skill, and BGM begins.

I remember when I was just the sound gal for the original LL. Time for a return to the past =_=

Anyone else experiencing this issue? (1.73)

I've had a couple of reports of impassable, invisible obstacle rubble in the workshop. This is strange because this is an issue I personally experienced while testing and fixed already before finalising 1.73.

Did I just fuck something up when packing the files together, maybe?

Anyone else getting this in 1.73?

Here's my question though: Should the hands grabbing breasts be kept as generic as possible to suit as many skins as possible, or should they be made bespoke for each heroine? (which is entirely possible)

Making a hitlist for 1.9 a.k.a 'Which parts of LL / LLE suck?'

As you all know, after 1.8 is finished the 1.9 update is going to focus on improving the state of the mod overall.

I need to make one big list of every little thing we don't like in LL / LLE.

1.8 is all about The Workshop region, and adding new content to LL:E, but what about that 1.9 update I teased before?

It's going to be all about generally raising the quality of the mod's art, animation, and writing.

Not able to unlock the The Workshop?

Just remember that unlocking the workshop is triggered by a town event! So here's a checklist to make sure you've:

  • Beaten the tutorial quest (Not the old road, but the first Ruins quest).

  • Beaten the first Crimson Court quest if you have it enabled (If you don't you will constantly get 'The Town is Abuzz!' town event and won't see the Workshop.

  • Aren't constantly running quests that force a different town event to happen (Some quests do this. In the q...

'Cum as Food', and the silliness of Lustiest Lair.

We all know the original Lustiest Lair was quite a silly experience indeed, with many absurdly and oftentimes hilariously over-porn-ified concepts like every battle being an 'orgy', and food being replaced with cum.
