Quick update from the final stages of Episode 2 of The Builder: The release is slightly delayed due to one simple factor: ambition.

I've spent a large part of the last week adding some animations. And with coding help, we will implement an options screen, where you can deselect content you are not interested in. Upon deselection, all traces of unwanted content will be gone from your play-through.

Going North

As I've mentioned, Episode 2 is mainly a transfer episode. I enjoy making a mess out of the geography of the Scandinavian countries, and adding the odd geographical easter egg.

Having said that, the episode will also feature the first full sex scene of the game involving the main character - so we're slowly getting there.

Ash or Ask?

Dear Patreons, 

Meet Ask (or is it Ash?), the ferryman of Fjorda.

He's a man of few words, but will nevertheless end up as one of the MC's most trusted helpers in his noble quest.

His Nordic name is Ask - which corresponds to the English Ash (same tree).

Personally, I prefer the Nordic name, but if that sounds bad to English ears, I will go for Ash. Please let me know what you prefer in the comments below.

Hello! Just a quick update about the progress: At the present, I'm working with the menus and the overall look of the game. As I am not a very smart coder, it takes some time just to understand how to place the text right.

As a teaser, I include a shot of Gry behind the scenes. I'm going to use her as our chaperone. After all, she's a journalist, so her skills will come to good use.

Hello all! 

Here's a quick glance at the progress of episode 1: Almost done! 

What remains - and that doesn't really show on the progress bar, are the main menus and the wrapping of the game.

I am also planning to create playable pilot with two scenes and a behind the scenes-glance, distributed for free. I have to finish this before I relase the episode, so that those who find the pilot interesting will find the actual game here on Patreon.

Luckily for him (and for us), our MC is going win, and that kicks off our adventure. But the reason for him winning, is something entirely different than his building skills. He himself is not aware of that ... yet ...

During the job interview in the beginning of episode 1, our hero runs into the love of his life. The two of them have always had a special connection. But now it seems she has made a life-changing choice. That gives our hero an epiphany, which will have large consequences.
