Often, when we look at a person, we draw superficial conclusions about their inner state. We rarely think about what may be hidden behind a beautiful picture. But if we look more closely, we will see the pain that is skillfully hidden behind the desire to be perfect.
In this series of photos, you see a girl who wants to be beautiful for you, despite the obvious pain that the ropes are carrying. This is the web of lies she weaves for you.

We spent a lot of time on this shoot. Every day we went to the Dnipro River coast at sunset to shoot a couple of shots before it got completely dark. Once we even poured a ton of sand into Diana's eyes and ears (guess what shot), after which we stopped shooting and then cleaned her ears from the sand for a couple of days 🙈

It has been inactive for decades and is slowly being converted into modern studio pavilions for filming movies and advertising. But the building still has halls, offices, and entire stages that have remained unchanged for many years and carry the authentic atmosphere of the 30s and 50s of the last century.
