As my previous post mentioned, I had difficult drawing today. I feel like I'm at a plateau; I'm standing still, rather than continuing to improve. A shame, really.

I'd like to spend some time doing studies and brushing up on my basics again, as well as just trying new things in general. Hoping to find a way to structure my Patreon in a way that makes that easier. I keep saying "oh more on that in a few days," but I've yet to start the posts for it to arrange my thoughts.

Just a simple doodle. Admittedly, was at a loss of ideas for what to draw today, but I started streaming, so I kinda just had to roll with it. Links are an easy go-to, though I seldom enjoy drawing them without any real purpose behind them.

NSFW - Bimbrells

I've doodled a few of these things lately. The outfit itself seems to be a good choice for the bimbrell idea. So that's neat and all. Pretty static pose.

I'm planning to put together some doodles and ideas of how else I might try to handle to Patreon - but I've been rather slow on that. I've got a bit of a workload to deal with for Snow Daze - I'd like to complete 3 of their illustration CG sets by the end of the month, and then more for next month.

Darkest Dungeon Link

I recently purchased Darkest Dungeon - a game that's about being crazy and stuff while exploring or whatevs. Heroes can get stressed and kick the bucket.

I'm thinkin' about modding Link into it, but it's gonna take a lot of work, because the art is animated with a skeleton in a third party program called Spine - you've probably heard of it. So yeah, some stuff worth looking into and researching. But perhaps it'll also offer some neat options for general art making also!

Link's Bad Day - Alternate Ending

Just a quick doodle to post during the weekend. I kinda wanted to have a funny alternate ending to the comic I just made, with a fist firmly pressed into Vaati's face. But then I figured you miss out by not having Link in it. So I went for the comic book WHAPPO uppercut, type dealie thing.

The red outfit is always pretty fun to draw.

EDIT: I looked at this afterwards and noticed a big error. I plan to fix it up before posting it publicly, but here you have it! You can see that sometimes artists make massive mistakes or piles of crap that never sees the light of day! Gotta fix Bodyslider's torso, it's practically missing.

Tailsko Bobbles

An older sketch that I just happened to touch up with some colour yesterday. Working on this is what led to doing the Sonic the Hedgehog I shared yesterday.

I don't expect to be keeping up with the Sonic stuffs though, so there isn't gonna be a Knuckles & Knuckles tomorrow. Shame though.

Really wasn't feeling the draws today, but I was able to squeeze a bit of artage today.

It's a Sonic. But with boobs and stuff. Yeah, not really much else to it! I was messin' around with an older sketch of a sexy Tails Prower, giving it some colour. Afterwards, I threw this together. Ain't really nothin' THAT amazing, but still neat enough.

[Comic] Link's Bad Day

For a few months now, I've been working on a comic commission about Link having a particularly bad day, and it's finally done. The commissioner likes it, so now I'm sharing it with you, my appreciated Patrons who help make my life a bit easier!

I'm sharing the entire comic through an imgur link, rather than a dropbox link. I'd prefer dropbox, but I ultimately might delete the files in the future, and therefore, render the link dead (Link is too precious for dead).

Z63 Comic Update - Finally Done 5ever?

I'm currently under the impression that this comic is completely finished and cool stuff like that. So here's a sneak peek at it's colours and cool stuff like that.

I need to spend a bit of time determining whether it's actually done and checking with the commissioner about their opinions of the latest page. But if all goes well, then it's totally done, and should be shared in it's entirety pretty soon.

Link Sketches

I did some sketching. Not really crazy about it, but that's okay. I wanted to spend some time redesigning my Link a bit. Not that I'd make it a permanent redesign, just something to shake it up every now and then. But I didn't really depart too much from my previous ideas. I'll probably need to take some time and research first.

I haven't drawn a good Link in a while.

Z63 Update - Final Page (Inks)

Oh gosh, my back, what a workload. Inks are pretty much done.

I feel you, Link... I can't catch a break either.

All that's left is the flat, colour, and then do the effects afterwards. So that's cool. I expect I'll also be revisiting the previous pages and making a few edits/adjustments, etc. But that should be all good. Hopefully this will be finished within next week. It'd be kinda cool to post the entire comic on Thanksgiving, but then it's a weekday, people will likely be eating with...

Z63 Comic Update

Nothing very susbstantial to show, however, I figured I'd show SOMETHING. I began working on the inks for the finale page of Link's Bad Day. I started to get a bit wonky near the end, so I expect some of Zelda to be redrawn some. Vaati's pretty much done, however, and I'm fairly content with how Vaati looks.

It may be done earlier (or even later), but I'm hoping to have the inks finished by next Wednesday. But knowing me, I may go hella hard and do more work for it by then, possibly finishing ...

It's a Wood Elf

I was hanging with Satellite 09, talking about The Elder Scrolls. She drew a couple sketches of a Wood Elf, which can be seen on her Patreon if you're subscribed to her there.

Z63 Comic Update

I did some work, nothing super substantial, but they're incredibly time-consuming and important parts of the developmental process. I did the basic colour flats for that webcomic guest page I previously mentioned, as well as the basic flats for one of the illustrations for Snow Daze.

But I also finished up the sketch for the Zelda comic. I don't believe I've any major changes intended, but who knows what'll happen! Anyway, pretty sure I'll be jumping to the inks soon. And then all that's left ...

Sketch: Neris & the Bonelord

I woke up not too long ago and I'm not yet ready to draw, so I'm showing you all this sketch of Neris I didn't finish. I may not finish it, I dunno. I'm not crazy about it. I think her chest size is a little bit more in line of what I generally like to picture it as - I feel like she should be a bit more on the petite size. It'll make the eventual breast expansion charm spells a lot more contrasting!

Bodyslider Girl - bein' cool

Spontaneous doodle I did at 4am. I saw something that made me want to revisit the super rough brush thing I used to do - the kinds of stuff I put into the first Sketchie Book Brellom and stuff. Nowadays, this brush is usually only used for my smoke clouds. It's an oldschool brellom draw! If oldschool is, like, 2 years ago.

It was originally designed to be used purely for prelim sketching, but I decided to see if I could use it fore more than just the preliminary sketch.

Bodyslider Sketches

Just some simple Bodyslide Sketches. I seldom draw the girl looking as anything other than her Default "Skin." It's really tough to represent a character who can shapeshift unless you're showing the process or you still know it's the character through some recognizable trait, whatevs.

Neris Bust

Felt like drawing my Dark Elf chick a bit more, probably because I started laying a can of whoop-butt on Skyrim on twitter earlier - yesterday, by now. Done during a stream.

I did some other art earlier in the day, so by the time I got finished with this, I started gettin' a bit fatigued. I felt my arm kinda slowing down, almost as if the cold was freezing it, forcing it to move slower, like in Skrims! But it's all good.

Z63 Comic Update

The top half of the last page in that Legend of Zelda comic comission I've been doing. At least, just in a refined sketch form. I'm reconsidering the composition of the bottom half, and even some of this portion I've shown you.

Not much to say, just letting you know I've still been developing upon it. Hopefully there will be more to share sometime this week.

More Dark Elf Doodles (Inked)

Took longer than I wanted to on this, but finished it quicker than I expected to. Thankfully, I've created a some inks of acceptable quality, though I think I strained just a tiiiny bit too much. I'm not used to having to press so hard with my meticulous inking, and I noticed a few times where I was pushing a bit harder than I usually am.

Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing has yet to be determined - it's simply unusual, so naturally, not what I'm comfortable with.

Tired Link

Feeling pretty tired. I'm getting in one of those "I'm not doing good enough, I really need to stop and practice my basics again" moods.

As of recently, I've been doing a lot of work that was more refined and clean. Though with my current pressure sensitivity settings being out of wack, it seems a bit less viable to do that. I still have to fiddle with my settings so that I'm comfortable with my drawing.

My Links have been getting REALLY boring too... Gotta fix that.
