[Blog] What's next for Game Dev?

I appreciate your continued patience. Now that a lot more progress has been made since the last private demo, I'm including a new demo for you to play with.

The demo is just a short level comprised of all currently available features, including all enemies.

I don't know if it can run natively on MacOS, but if you can run Microsoft.EXE, then you should be fine. Download & Unzip, as you will need the entire folder to play.

Tired

I took a break last week, but I feel extremely exhausted. While it could be a number of reasons, I DID just recently squeeze all of those commissions into the first week & put a lot of physical stress on myself doing so. 

It could've just hit me harder than I noticed - which isn't too unreasonable because I stopped taking commissions in the past because it was tiring. Hopefully I won't have to do that next month, but I'll still need to deal with the repercussions ...

I've finished this month's commissions, so I have a week or so before I need to take them again. Spreading them out like I have was healthier than usual, but they end up taking more time throughout the month as a result... I guess this will be the norm for the foreseeable future unless I increase my Patreon earnings. But with so little off time from commissions, it makes what I choose to create outside commissions even more important - as I'll need to use that time wisely.

I've been feeling lightheaded the last two days, with shortness of breath and minor headaches. I thought it might've been a carbon monoxide leak, but was told that my unit has a detector for that. So, who knows what it might be...?

My health has generally been deteriorating slowly over the last few years, so it could just be related to that... But, yeah. Just thought I'd bring it up just in case.

I spent half of the month doing concept art. I'm probably done with that for now, at least the bulk of it. I might get new ideas, but I might just let them breathe a bit. It was a much less technical month than most concept art installments, being more about the exploration of ideas rather than problem solving designs.
