We're finally getting into fall!  As we hunker down for the chilly months of winter the Iron Pen is in full swing, already over halfway done with two weeks to go!  I should have everything done and a solid stop date by the 13th of October, and currently we have 300k+ words that have already been written.

Staying In Touch

This is one of the patreon exclusives, Renzyl and the other nexus lords are told that they're out of touch and it's starting to affect their ability to recruit.  The result is them getting jobs in order to figure out exactly what's going on.

Clyde wakes up in the compound alone while the other pups go out to play, and when he finds Blue he discovers that his life has actually been changed forever.  Can he reconcile with Silver or will this break him?  And hiding the truth leads to a potentially devastating outcome.

Not Your Standard Encounter

When a treasure hunter goes missing Kevin goes in search not only to try and find them but also what they were looking for.  What he finds when he gets to the ancient ruins is more than he bargained for as he is attacked by a rubber drone horse.  Unbeknownst to him the wolf found exactly what he was looking for as he finds out the fate of the treasure hunter by succumbing to it himself.

Rook takes a chance at entering into a contest while at a booth advertising next generation synths and is surprised to find that he won the grand prize of a brand new version for him.  The dragon can't wait to try it, to the point that he forgoes the instruction manual and just activates them.  Surely having a dominant synth drone with unknown capabilities isn't a bad idea, right?

Escape From the Factory - v0.40

The latest update to the game is that it now features sound!  It's been a big update and I think it definitely adds to the ambience of the lobby area.  On the back end I also updated and fixed the dialogue for the characters, and while that might not be readily seen in the game itself it has been a major update for things moving forward.

BTS - Escape From the Factory/Rain and Shine

Wonder what goes into making the characters?  This is a new method that I've learned doing Ren'Py which makes things like stat tracking, dialogue sprites, and everything else much easier.  Not only am I implementing it for Escape From the Factory but also going back and fixing code in Rain and Shine as well.

The Grass is Greener

Dieter finds themselves between a rock and a hard place, or rather between a nexus lord eagle and horse as they attempt to court them to be part of their respective sides.  Since Dieter finds good aspects of both he is torn between the two and it doesn't help that the two nexus lords appear to be at odds with one another.  Will Dieter join the plushie side, or embrace his inner avian?

We have sound!  So far it's just in the lobby but not only is there background ambience for those exploring the lobby but there will also be random announcements that happen while you play!
