I do love a challenge, and animating this excerpt from @Magarnon 's short story "Ashes" certainly took me into uncharted waters. I can't say I've ever animated an army before, and I haven't done 3D lighting in quite a while.

This one was an interesting, albeit tricky, one to figure out. I'm no stranger to corrective blendshapes, but this animation really had me push my boundaries to get this guys body to completely change shape. Overall I think the end result was worht taking some chances, and I had fun bringing this guy to life!

Thanks everyone for participating in this month's Patron's Pick. I was so happy people wanted to see more of my own characters. I often don't have time for personal projects and this was a great opportunity for me to work on them.

I've been experimenting with the idea of adding more merchandise rewards for my animated pilot the next time I try a kickstarter for it. I'm thinking about doing stickers/buttons, and these are some mock-ups I made for them.  It's tricky trying to come up with something that fits with my short but is also something people would want to own.

 Finished my entry for SMBSWReanimated collab (until I find an error immediately after I upload it). Animating Bowser was a fun challenge, and I really wanted to push how expressive I could make him.
