New build tomorrow!

Just putting the finishing touches on it now.

Included in September build:

New armor shop scene

Expanded slime surrender scene that plays after Ash joins the party

Pause system rework

Options menu available in most places (including animation viewer)

Basic save and continue game functionality

Progress on next build

Sorry for the quietness recently. I've been working on a lot of small improvements and fixes but I want to add some new content too. There will be a new build before the end of the month.

The next build will also be the first version to have sound effects and music so a lot of time was spent fiddling with that whole new dimension.

You'll be able to choose your starting skin and a name for the protagonist. The slime form inherits the features of the starter skin you choose.

Preliminary work on character customization

I started to feel it was long past due to add this. It's not the full feature but at least you will be able to choose from a few options now. I'm thinking of releasing another build in a week that will have a few small improvements like this. I also fixed some of the bugs that were reported for the current build.

Town Linked to Dungeon

Hey guys another quick update.

I decided to go ahead and link up all the current town zones and the quest board for travel to the dungeon. You will also be able to exit and come back to the town with the dungeon event progress retained but with enemies respawning. 

I need to do a little more bug testing and make sure that the slime king is repeatable but without the events attached to his defeat.

Progress Update June

Hey guys hope you are all doing well! I have a few things I wanted to talk about regarding the state of the project and the patreon campaign.

Tavern (WIP)

 Hey everyone I wanted to give a little update on what I'm working on. I've started blocking in the tavern interior where the buddies will gather to have a drink after your missions. Buddy 1 and Buddy 3 are rigged and already have a few animations. Buddy 2 still needs to be rigged.

Character Progress

Hey guys, small update on the character progress. I wanted to get the 3 buddies finished and rigged for animation and I am very close! 

I spent a little more time on Buddy 1 and I'll include one of his animations in the animation viewer soon. Buddy 2 is almost finished being rendered and Buddy 3 is nearly ready for export. All buddies have nude versions as well.

Small update to the Animation Viewer

Hey guys I decided to release a build with some updated nude skins and animations in the Animation Viewer mode of the game. The rest of the game should be mostly unchanged.

I'll continue to work on the town backgrounds and levels but I might do another small animation update at the end of the month.

No balls touching here.

Mood exploration of the upcoming city streets

I'm starting to whip up some sprites and getting a feeling for the city.

Tentatively planning three small zones. One for the tavern and shops, one for the resident houses where the protagonist lives and an upper city zone for the story related scenes.

Mid April Dev Report

New Party Member

The hero will be joined by companion during his mission to defeat the slime king!

Meet the second party member, a mysterious warlock that uses his daggers to deal fast, critical hits in addition to dark magic skills.


He will be included in the next update of the dungeon prototype available for patrons at the end of the month!

Updating character controller

I had to make some changes so the hero can move around a bit better. The dungeons won't have to be straight left to right anymore.
