Game Files: Object.Txt

I noted that I have not yet processed the Object.txt file in the game files, which contains the data for some equippable items, including wands. This data file is attached! Let me know if you all have any requests (everything is automated at this point, so I just type my file name, click okay, and get the table in a minute).

Polymath 2.2 Update

Polymath 2.2 is live on Nexus! As mentioned, there should be no changes compared to the beta I most recently put on my Patreon.

Polymath 2.2 Video

The crossbow warhammer of fire lives (and Ketheric's construction paper armor)! I have finished recording all footage for the video (voiceover, skits that Ketheric would have comments on, background game footage, and footage of everything in action). It still works, even when using different equipment. I hope to have the video out by Monday, though we'll see what I can get done over the weekend. I'll at least release some of my Absolute Human Resources content. Stay tuned!

Polymath 2.2.0 Done!

Thank you all for your patience as I figured out Polymath 2.2.0 (many things can break when making custom weapons and armor that take time to parse out). I, fortunately, figured what should have been most of it and will now start preparing the video! Attached is the final beta version for Polymath 2.2.0. The release version should be about the same, although I will put it through its paces using different weapons and armor than I tested with. Stay tuned!

Polymath 2.2.0 Update

Hey all! More progress on adding multiple weapons at once. It appears that some entries used in the Larian game files for Weapons.txt were defective, even when used in the more stable "Shared" game files. This was harder to parse out, but I have a fix. Useful Tool Coming to Polymath 2.2.0

As I continue to finalize the next release, I put together a computer script that will save you all time and effort: making it so your edits in the more readable Excel files actually get carried over to Polymath. If you want to use it now, versus later, put the BAT file in the same directory as Polymath.bat and put the python script into the "src" folder.

Polymath 2.2.0 Update

Polymath works as desired for weapons! There appears to be an additional command that I have to run on one of the game files (root templates) using LSLib to ensure that the weapon's name and description show up appropriately in-game. Polymath 2.2.0 Update

We're almost here! You can now get the weapons/armor that you design in-game, with the stats you give them (I gave my character a starting weapon with 8-43 damage). I am currently debugging why the in-game name and description are not carrying over, despite seemingly being coded correctly in the requisite files. In addition, I have a bug to fix when you add custom weapons AND armor. I hope to resolve these issues by tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Polymath 2.2.0 Update

It's almost alive! Polymath 2.2.0 is nearing completion (and another hotfix for Polymath 2.1 is uploaded onto Nexus Mods).

The custom weapon/armor generation widget is complete along with writing the stats information for your custom equipment to your class mod. Action Resource Icon Update and Patron Poll
