December 2023: Skunk [WIP]

Normally I try and avoid having a character swap directions in a comic (360 rule) but there was more room to show off that bushy tail if I did.

I included a couple thumbnail versions too, just to show off my process of drafting comics.  I keep it super loose so I can freely move stuff around and delete stuff until I like the composition.

Striped Skunk Studies

Not super robust this time around, just enough practice to get the general shapes down.  They're so wonderfully round ;~;

Skunk facts!!!:

• the word "skunk" was likely adapted from the Abenaki word "seganku" which can be translated to "pee fox"
• their spray is extremely precise and can reach up to 10 feet away!  The scent can be detected by the human nose up to 3.5 miles downwind.

Quick update on possible delays!

Sort of underestimated how much time would get eaten up by the holidays, so there's a high possibility of delays with the monthly comic and with rewards!  I had a couple commissions that needed to get done before the 25th, so that kind of ate up my time.  

I'm going to be away from around January 2nd-7th, so even if I manage to scrape the comic out in time, there will almost definitely be a delay in getting the rewards done.  Sorry y'all!

I've had a couple people ask me directly, so I think it warrants a quick post to address it in case anyone else is interested!

If you'd like to have one or more of your rewards colored outside of the monthly timeframe (in addition to your reward for that month,) you can commission that for $20 instead of $15.  

If you'd like to have several of them colored, only the first one will cost $20; the rest will cost $15.  Essentially, the extra $5 is a fee for booking a commiss...

November 2023: Spotted Hyena

Gwen sneaks into the hyena exhibit at the zoo to have a smoke.  What happens next will shock you!

Gwen is intersex, and female hyenas have pseudopenises.  Which is far too anatomically interesting not to focus on.  Technically she should have two scrotums, because hyenas' vulvas are fused into a pseudoscrotum.  (animals are weird, man) But I just thought that would be too busy.

Dalek BonBon

Bonnie likes to take selfies and post them online, dreaming of one day reaching influencer status.  Getting TF'd into a dalek makes that prospect much more difficult.  Her boyfriend (a self-proclaimed UFOlogist) doesn't actually seem to mind the change, and despite everything, the two of them are able to maintain an unorthodox but surprisingly intimate relationship.

Dalek TF Love Story Concepts

Some concepts and sketches and things for a wholesome Dalek TF story I've had in my head lately. Hyena Studies

Did you know that female hyenas have big ol' pseudo-penises?? I did, and I wanted to focus my studies on that a bit.  I thought it would be particularly interesting, since Gwen is intersex, to have her finish the transformation with both sets of genitalia.  So I wanted to make sure I got an idea of how the two sets differ from eachother.

It's been a minute!  Motivation got a bit stale so I took a break.  And then I got covid.  But we're not far off from a point where I can pause and work on getting some pages finished!

I hope the gore on this page isn't too much for people, afaik there's no good way to hide it with a tag or anything on this platform.  I may consider making an alternate version when I get around to finishing it.  Although this comic is pretty dark to begin with, so it might not ...

OCTOBER 2023: Gator

Nevaeh gets lost on her way to her Floridian beach vacation.  

Still recovering from covid fatigue, and still a bit disoriented, so shading is minimal on this one...  I don't think it looks bad or unfinished though!  Shading is one of those things where if you can't spend the time to make it look right, it typically looks better without it.
