Raven Tattoo Sketch

Not sure if anyone remembers but I was commissioned to do a full sleeve design tattoo of a woman with 2 wolves. Its been about year and the client dug it so much they commissioned me for the other arm!

This time it's a woman with 5 ravens. The final design will be pretty loose as well but here it is in its rough state!

DJohoe designed a DBZ sweater for Emylia! I kind of changed some things, but the core design is still there haha.

Niokasgami requested their cute ghost girl as a maid. For some reason I thought a cute sleepy pose fit a ghost persona. She's been worked to death!

Ashlan Qalli

Hanners asked for their bard to be working at the cafe. I was asked to create an outfit for they tomboy bard, so I thought a modified butler outfit could work! Since they're a bard I tried to keep the look on the dapper side, haha. 

JJ Maidfield

Argus

A gunslinger mountain dwarf! When doing these commissions I always try to find away to incorporate all their equipment since its pretty important to the character's growth and journey. Plus sometimes the items are just so cool!

Argus for instance has a pack of enchanted cigars. Each one he smokes emits a different color and spell. And a flask that eternally keeps its contents cool. I nearly forgot he had 10ft of mythril rope, and had to include it into his design last minute. AS he'...

Arcadius

Colored sketch commission of a warlock that has unfortunately been tainted by the Spider Queen and is more of a necromancer nowadays. I worked on this piece during the stream and had fun taking some suggestions for the viewers. :)

A catgirl paladin for a custom RPG campaign! I love when people go beyond D&D to create an even more immersive world for themselves to venture into. Not that I'm knocking D&D, its just cool to see what people do with the formula. :)

Kirishima

Another MHA colored sketch commission. Surprisingly it was from another client but they wanted Kirishima in civilian clothing. I ended up working on this and Bakugo side by side since I didn't want to split up such good friends. ;)

Dumas

A blood hunter teifling commission! Took me a while to get this character done right. Turns out giving a dynamic pose sometimes makes all the difference! I actually really dig this way of coloring sketches, now.

Sorry for the hiatus, everyone! I'll be getting back to posting regular content again. Had to take a longer break than usual to just focus on work and recover from whatever bug I've got. TBH I think the fires in California is just prolonging my cough the this air quality. ><

A genasi druid! I tried to make this D&D colored sketch more floaty than my previous ones, given her half genie lineage. :)

Congrats to HawkHunting!! The patrons chose your casual rendition of Morrigan Aensland. I'm glad your palette was lifted from her original sprite, it was a great choice to keep her looking like her usual self even in new clothes. :)

Glamor Bard

Catching up on work!! This was a fun D&D commission piece. The client had described their half elf bard as sort of a mermaid inspired pop/rock star. So I had fun trying to recreate that mermaid gradient trend that was around for a while. Her lute was elongated to fit that rock star look a bit better. )

Dreams Do Come True

Hey everyone!! Hope you're all having a fantastic day. Last week I finally had my wedding that I'd been hyping on Twitch, haha. It was a very magical experience. I'll be sure to spill the details when I get back home next week. I'll be wrapping up the fighting game portraits for the Gold Brushes by then, and hopefully a few vacation pieces as well!!

How to Train your Dragon

This was a really cool piece to work on! The client asked for trainer versions of all the dragons from HTTYD. I had only seen the first movie and had to do a little research to try to portray these dragon's personalities. Now I really want to watch the 2nd movie to get ready for the 3rd! :)

New Year's Resolution

I should start posting commissions and project work!! On top of recent work, haha. 

This was a FF14 commission between a couple, and recently got news that they were engaged :) SO I was asked to add a ring to the Au ra's hand. Wishing this couple all the best, and it was nice to try to create a sweet romantic image.

Inktober day 2! I inked a sketch where a girl's doing that anime thing where they pull down their lower eyelid and stick out their tongue, then I tried to zombie-fy it. 

Surfer Luli

The last Patreon request stream of the summer was a beach theme! Where Gold Brush Patrons could request a character of their choosing having fun at the beach.     

This surfer version of a Luli was requested to be taken further into color. So I tried to give the pic a sort of dreamy summer feel to it. Was really fun to do :)

There's one more request that was upgraded into a colored sketch piece like this one! And that'll come up next :)

I'm going to attempt to put an hour aside for Inktober as much as I can this month! Always loved this armor, and spooky accompanying hammer!

Sketch Jam: Fire Fighter

My `1 hour entry for the sketch jam! TBH I was inspired by a piece that I may or may not have voted for in the poll,s but I really dug the idea of a matchstick girl. Its one of my favorite short stories too! Haha

 So I tried to capture a bit of that melancholy. A match is lit, and a little fire is fighting for its life. I like the blobby tiny blip of fire matches make, its like a bubble of heat. I wanted to sketch that tiny rapid movement that a match gives out before it goes out. It was ...

With the tiny little Playstation coming out I'm suddenly remembering all the games I loved that definitely won't be on it. :( I might draw all the dancing ladies in that game. Every one of them had such cute, kitschy costumes haha.
