I was in Germany last week for my real job. I flew home through Amsterdam. I decided to get up early one morning and film an intro to the next Smarter Every Day on the streets of Amsterdam. Do you think a segue from the streets of Amsterdam to the Great Barrier Reef is too far of a stretch? I'm talking about using Google Street View for scientific Data.

Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers (a soft spot for me) at North Carolina State University conducted a massive computer simulation which modeled the physics of the free throw to determine the perfect shot.
