Marin via Clip Studio's auto color feature
I wanted to mess around with something quick (for once) and whipped this up last night. It's charming! I found this couture dress on Pinterest and wanted to draw it, and then I used the Colorize feature in Clip Studio to take the hint colors and fill them in throughout the drawing. I like the results!
My style of drawing faces has become a bit more static and simplified lately. I need to ponder on that.

The amount of layers I put on this drawing is INSANE. I was trying to replicate his lighting, and I'm beginning to think it's mostly layers and layers of things.
The final colored line art got duplicated four additional times, I think. One, I used the dodge and burn tools on to make areas darker or lighter in the very intense way he tends to use. I set that to about 50% opacity over the original. One one layer, I blurred the whole thing and set that to Overlay and took down the op...
