/Doorways - Concept Art

These are a series of images I created to use for an upcoming art book for my Industrial music project :10:

I also shot a few video sections as well, but they didnt quite work out. This series is for a track titled Doorways featuring vocals by Chiasm, another Detroit based industrial artist.

I used a few of the images for a 4 page spread in the book which i will be posting when its finished. Just wanted to share these images because I thought they turned out cool.

/Dalia - Hues of Red

Playing around with light drags and a cheap ocean wave LED light I picked up.

/Dalia - Koreys Bath Robe

As we set up to shoot, Dalia changed into a robe (basement studio is usually...well...always cold) So I took some test shots to make sure my lighting was good. She told me it was Koreys bath robe that she stole, because it was more comfortable. So now we had to shoot a set with the robe :D And some without the robe :P

/Jamie - Post

Jamie just had chest surgery. We started out with a portrait set pre surgery [Here] - She isn't completely healed yet, but she wanted to get some new pictures in.  I have been working with Jamie for several years now, and I noticed she has a  new glow about her while we were shooting. She should be completely healed in June, but I'm sure we will be working together before that.

/Jessie - Portraits

First time working with Jessie. We shot some simple portraits, then all of my batteries died. First time that has ever happened to me. Guess I thought I had one more charged, but not the case. Luckily we managed to get a bunch of cool shots. I love Jessie's head shots. She has a unique look that photographs really beautifully. 

/New Work

I haven’t been able to shoot much lately. Lots of cancels and rescheduling. People getting sick, as well as myself. I did manage to get Jamie’s second shoot in for her post surgery, so I will be sharing that soon. I got to work with Jessie for a quick portrait session that turned out nice. Has a cool vintage vibe about it, so I should have that up as well in the next few days.

My Industrial album is done. Well, the music part at least. I’m half way through the art. So the book is coming along. One of the tracks is titled Yellow King, so I need to wait until it’s a little warmer out before shooting the concept for that outside.

I have two more shoots planned early March with Dalia and Korey I’m looking forward to. I might try a music video with Korey on the weird concept I have for the album art.

I also finished work on a remix track for an artist Alex Fin (Music Link) I really liked his Momento track. I will share it when it’s released.

Hopefully things pick up soon and I can get some more shoots in. 😁

Makeup by Carlie [IG] Quick set of Lux before we lost all light. Had to shoot at a really high ISO, but managed to pull a few images out of the darkness.

/Odie - Let There Be Blood

/Odie - Portraits

First time working with Odie. I think the portraits turned out really beautiful. I met her while working with Taylor while I was showing her some tricks she could do with her camera. We tried out a few double exposure shots and some light drags.

/My Insides Artwork - :10: Album Concepts

Jamie helped out with a darker Idea I had for my Industrial music project :10:
I am working on a new Art Book to go along with the release in the fall. Each track has its own spread in the book similar to the Eros album. This concept was based on "My Insides" track. I wanted to create a being or construct that was peeling its skin away , and its broken self was showing on the inside.

Its 3 separate shots with a tripod. one nude, arms up over her head. the Second is a nude color bodysuit that we slit down the middle and pulled open for the skin, and the 3rd shot was just a bloody torso shot. then i composited them all together to create the final image.

I will be posting the full art of the book when its released in the fall.

/Tayler - Red Riding Hood

Tayler came over for some portraits and to use my studio space to test out her new camera. So I showed her a few tricks she could try with light drags and double exposures. I had some fake blood left over, so we covered her naked body in blood and wrapped her in plastic...Because, why not :)

/Holli, Grapes & Freddy krueger

As long as I have known Holli, she has always been a fan of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I bought a replica glove, so we decided to do a quick portrait set. The blades were sharp, so jokingly Holli wanted to eat fruit off of them. All I had was a few grapes, so why not :)

Sometimes weather just gets in the way, and people are not able to come out and shoot. So we have to reschedule. It happens. But that didn't stop Holli from  trekking through the snow. We were supposed to both shoot, but Holli ended up modeling for me. So, we just shot some half nude portraits, then broke out the kruger glove, since she is a huge Freddy fan (If you couldn't tell from her tattoos :) 

I think they turned out beautiful. Holli is still very talented in front of the camera!

The last time I worked with Becky was back in 2017. She recently hit me up to work together again, and wanted to get back into modeling for herself. So we we shot some simple portraits and a few other sets that i will be sharing as well once I'm done editing. Pretty happy with the way these came out. Just a simple light set up with a gold reflector to highlight her side.

/Detroit Dirty Show 2024

Denied! Unfortunately, my entry didn’t make the cut. I am still waiting to see if the video gets selected.

I’m going to post the video soon with a selection of images from the dirty show set.

Still surprised it didn’t make the cut. Guess I will have to be more creative next year 🫠

/Bella - Winding Down

This was a quick shoot we shot after another set I did for an upcoming art book project for my industrial music :10: album. Wanted to use the natural light in the bathroom and see how the 35mm 1.4 lens looked. I think I'm still a fan of the 50mm 1.2 I used to have. Might have to pick one of those up again someday. I think these turned out beautiful. I need to find a big vintage bathroom with a claw foot tub one of these days :)

/Jamie - Multiple Exposures

Jamie had messaged me a few weeks back asking about double exposures in camera. I had never tried it out before, but I knew it was an option. She had bought a new dress she wanted to wear, so we set out to test out how the function worked in camera. Originally we were supposed to use a bouquet of flowers as the second image, but someone forgot to bring them :)

So we are definitely going to try another set with the flowers next time. I think the results turned out beautiful.

/Seeking Justice

A good friend of mine Shelby reached out for a quick photo session to showcase some of Seeking Justices swag. She had lost her original photographer, so I'm always up for helping a friend out. We knocked out 10 minute sessions for each model that was cool enough to show up!

We ended up meeting up at a parking garage in Royal Oak Michigan utilizing the street lights to create a nice urban backdrop.

/Detroit Dirty Show 2024

I’m entering 2 pieces and possibly a video submission to next year’s Dirty Show. It’s an erotic art show they hold in Detroit every year. I think this is the 24th one. Deadline is December 1st.

I will be posting my submissions here as well to share what I created.

Just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time because they are erotic pieces 🫠 so if a vagina scares (or scars) you-Now’s a good time to close your eyes 😁
