Quick status update

As I mentioned before, the ongoing update should introduce Gym location and related scenes and stories. For now update is taking extra time via development of the character assets (we need at least Arnie and Coach to set up dialogs for Gym). 

Arnie and his brother assets are mostly done (missing few small elements here and there, like holding the beer bottle or Christmas outfits). Since we need them to support story development and releasing dev build, I'm making a dev animations (...

This scene is in progress for a while now (and I don't think it will be finished before the end of September because of the artist's personal issues), but this work in progress looks pretty nice, so I'm glad to share it with you!

Dev Diary

Hi. Sorry for this awkward delay, but here I want to share the coming changes on the project and current situation.

The current speed for content production is very slow - at least 3x times slower then I would expect to call it 'okay'. But at least it still goes on. 

First thing first is we're working over introduction of the Gym location during this or next update. We currently work over character assets of Arnie and Coach. Later on we will add Kelly as well.

I have a sort of dilemma here about the direction of the further development.

Overall I have two options, both has issues

First one is "Gym Stories"

Pros:

• We have animations for 2 Casey scenes mostly ready, so these can be turned into game scenes relatively quick
• This set of updates includes both Casey & Lana
• Arts for Lana in Gym are done, some of the comics assets are done

Lana Calls Jack is now fully voiced

The Sleeping variant was not voiced because it needs a complete retake / update of voicing lines - due to this and previously mentioned issues with story building for sleeping scene, I won't be waiting for it's update for game build and just skip it.

it's been a hard month, sometimes I get a feeling that the project is falling apart. I'm not a big fan of sharing bad news, but it is what it is. Briefly on may updates:

Poll: Lana getting a voice

Okay, now I'm confused. I wasn't going to make a poll on this, but some of your comments made me think that... maybe... the project and things developed a bit further than I initially planned it. Like Lana in my head was always a pretty much Fluttershy-ish character and she always sounded like that in my head. But now... maybe she really needs a more serious personality? 

Like maybe I'm wrong. I try to keep the game style a bit cartoony, but I can't admit that it changed a lot sinc...

DevDiary: Lana getting a voice

If any of you are interested in the process of Lana getting her voice, below are a few samples. I lean towards using mix 01-02-03, and maybe an expression of voice_05 for moments when Lana is either drunk or has a high urge. My winner right now is voice_01_mix

P.S. Please let me know if you are interested in such updates at all, since we have lots of none-visual work going on on the background and I'm checking options to share it too.

Recent days I was working over Tuna's scene voicing and I can't make myself not to share some teasers with you! The voiced scene suppose to come up in few days and replace the current one.

BtS: Gym Lana scene(s) assets done

Hi guys,

okay we went down this road and made both soft and hard versions of the scene. Right now that's pretty much the assets for two different scenes, except the background and Lana's tail. I think this might be a hilarious scene. Two scenes actually - I want to separate those not only because of the different assets usage, but also because males physical strength is pretty different and I wonder if we can show that difference in motion.

Gym (reworked) first look

Hi there. The video is attached, it is actually a combination of a few animation loops. 

We've reworked way more than initially planned to keep this scene at the current project's quality level. I think it was worth doing. I love this scene. We're working over the script for it.

This scene will be a next released scene, but will not get into v5 update (all gym scenes (and I mean like 4-5 of them) will have their own separate release in the future)

Dev Diary: Slowly getting back to business

Hi guys,

sorry for this delay, we're slowly getting back to business and particularly checking where did we drop the last dev update. New game build is priority number one right now. It will be split in two parts - first Tommy fixes and all Lana-Tommy scenes integrated, later - Tuna's scene & story. Just like planned (oh well, kinda).

Hello guys and girls (if any),

again I'm sorry for these huge gaps of content updates, we're trying to keep up the work despite heavy stress. Hopefully we will have more content updates in April - both Casey gym scenes animations are in progress as well as the story. If things go well, next game version is out this month (I can't make promises though, as everything is very complicated nowadays)
