Comic for Monday 12/4 (Early High Res)
I'm not even sure I actually want to play WoW again (or any MMO for that matter). But every time they announce a new expansion or raid, I feel a faint pull somewhere in the recesses of my soul. Perhaps for the game or, more likely, for the attached nostalgia of a simpler time, wrapped up in great memories I had playing that game for so many years.

I'm very easy to please when it comes to a game like Diablo; I want to switch off my brain and shred screens full of enemies, their bodies vomiting forth copious amounts of shiny NUMBERS GO UP goodness.
It seems like such a simple formula, but for some reason Diablo 4 struggled with it at launch. Like Blizzard had forgotten every lesson they'd learned with Diablo 3.

Halloween is our favorite holiday, so we go pretty hard each year. This past spring when we were beginning to discuss our costumes for this year, we had just come off of The Mandalorian season 3, and talked about how fun it would be to dress up as our own covert of Mandalorians.
Fast forward to August, and I dove into what would be two months straight of 3D-printing, bondo, sanding and so many stages of painting. And for my wife, two months of patterning, cutting, and sewing flight sui...
So this has been a fun adventure. My oldest started reading the CAD Omnibus, a nice little daily reminder of how long I've been drawing this comic. I'm now teaching a crash course in the "olden days" of video games and the internet.
But at 21 years and around 4000 pages, even when I look through the early strips, I see games mentioned that I was clearly excited about then, and that I barely even remember now.
