I got pretty caught up in the festivities this month but still got a few drawings out. I'm excited to get back into drawing, I still got a Toph comic in the works and a lot of sketch commissions to do (thanks for filling them so quick).

FOOOOLY sketch Commission Tier (beta)

I swore I'd never do commissions again after how backed up and burnt out i got from the the last few but... . . . I do enjoy taking on working on short drawings and I've been thinking I could do sketch commissions instead, at least beta test it for a month or two.

the issue with big commissions for me is that I tend to over commit and spend weeks making them perfect but if I could set the standards at a drawing I could complete within a few hours, I think I cou...

as i said last month ive been working on my oc's a lot recently, still find it hard to draw Ramone so she is most subject to change, also did a few quick sketch drawings the other day, i didn't have time to finish them up but i guess between the 3 attempts you can get the idea of the picture.

alright I got to admit I burnt out pretty bad towards the end of inktober, I feel as though I had drawn just about every scenario I had in me. there is over 25 artworks in this zip, that should be good enough to say Inktober was successful. 

during November I want to focus more on my OC's. I well be setting a Q and A in my discord to help flesh them out and produce more LORE.

okay this one is a little embarrassing... I was feeling burnt out after finishing the avatar commission and it was my birthday so....

yea not a great excuse, I did a ton of stupid doodles, the kind of stuff that's more akin to text book doodles than a drawing I could include in here.

well next week should be way better as I'm starting my Inktober daily request drawings so I hope that makes up for this.

THE REAL "fooooly sketch AUG '22"

For some reason i labeled last months sketch folder "august" when it should have been July. 

I need to correct that now graphic and title but you might end up with two august 2022 xip folders now and I'm sorry. 

anyway I hope you guys enjoy the comics, i got a lot more progress into the avatar comic and I'm hoping it will be all completed before the end of this week!

most of the pictures in this folder is new stuff i haven't posted anywhere else and probably wont. anyway guys feel like its been a while since you seen me active. feel i should shout and say I'm still here and drawing as much as ever, probably spread myself thin with gts/general projects this week so that's why this folder is a little lackluster

looking forward to making another comic.

I think I got a better understanding on how to draw toes in a more anatomically correct way, usually I just stylize them as a cop out (which i still do) but after taking some time to draw a lot of bodiless feet over the last few days the anatomy is starting to make more sense. anyway enjoy the doodles and download the zip below

valentine gift, comic (downloads)

took some time for me to get this out but thanks for being patient. this is a little rushed in some areas, mainly the dialogue and some size inconsistency in the drawings but other than that it came together pretty well.

got corona this month and it definitely had an impact on my output, this is scraping the bottom of the barrel. another factor has been my focus on comic's, i dropped an extra page in here for the valentine one to pad it out a little.

a great month for sketching. I set a lot more foundation for my comic ideas too. 

not gonna talk too much about the comics until im its nearly completed i feel like I sometimes kill my flow by hinting at things too early.

Happy new year everyone! 

Starting out strong this year with a lot more fooooly content to share this month than I expected. I'm starting to feel a lot of the light and shading practice pay off, a lot of these look a little more messy than usual but over time ill get a better grip of this kind of shading technique.

as usual I ended up shading a lot of balls and eggs this week, just doing some boring studies and practice. I'm sometimes tempted to include them to bulk out the selection but its really not the vibe nor useful to any artists who see these sketches. 

I brought up a while ago that I'm planning on moving out, the house I'm moving too is one that I've been building for a few months now. a lot of time was taken up this month working on that but its almost complete, hard to say when but...
