I've pretty much got all the layering blocked out for 2 variants and started messing around with the gold trimming to see how it all comes together.
Also had a suggestion for a Lich variant which I think we can handle to round out the 3 designs!

Pretty clear win for these creepy bald guys!
The fancy robes are the main design point and the biggest visual difference between members, so I'll get some basic proportions blocked in then start making a bunch of neck/torso treatments and see where the design goes from there.

With a crazy fast turn-around from Lance the full bandit crew is ready! I went with a close, mid and long ranged option to make them more versatile and even made one fancier to use as a captain/boss with his own stats and tokens.
I thought these would be a bit boring when they won the vote but I'm very happy with end result, much cooler than I was expecting!

This should hopefully be a better solution, it has almost double the bandwidth cap and will only stop the offending link from being downloaded not every single one.

I've got most of the parts blocked in now, next step will be moving onto more refining and detail work like armour trims etc but here's a quick pic of some basic variant stuff I was playing with. I'll push it much further in the final designs but it is fun to see how little changes can really have an impact on the feel of the character.

A mob of bandits it is!
I'll approach this in much the same way as I did for the kickstarter, with close/medium/long ranged options and some variety in the designs so it's not just identical in a different pose.
The hooded cape is a must have for the overall look and I do like the idea of the face mask as well, makes it feel more like a group. Other than that is just leathers and accessory details to fill out the rest of the look.

Continuing on with the idea from last month, I'd like to get some more eyes on the smaller creators so our collab this month features Zindam the Sorcerer from Miniatures Blueprint! There is so much more subtle stuff going on with cat faces than I ever expected!
Seeing as it was basically split down the middle as far as which way to take this design I started with sculpting a 'normal' short haired cat for the base. Surprisingly it was a bit trickier than I thought getting the face details dialled in but I'm happy with the results so far.

I didn't think this little guy would be so popular! I'm immediately drawn to the top left but I don't know a whole lot about cats so if there is a specific type that would be more suited just let me know.
Apart from that this should be a relatively quick design, I'll just need to knock up a quick cat base mesh then I can pull wings off something else for a good starting point.
