SSV 3 Chapter 19

“This tastes so good.” Amelia was having trouble not drooling on the table with just the bread and butter.

“It’s just the bread.” I chuckled as our waiter came by.

“Can I get you all started with something to drink?” The waiter asked.

“We’ll take two bottles of champagne. The D’ore Fleur.” Technically, we didn’t have access to France after the titans had shown up, but that didn’t stop anyone from making champagne. “We’ll take one of each appetiz...

SSV3 Chapter 18

The rest of my week was filled with a flurry of activity. The trainees continued to put in effort and listen to Emma. And I was seeing significant improvement out in the field. Amelia, in particular, was much better at using her fog strategically.

She’d taken Emma’s suggestion to heart and used small pockets of it around someone’s face to block their vision but not Ivanna’s, while learning to act in a supportive role despite her desire to be up front in the action.

And Iva...

SSV3 Chapter 17

“Scalpel.” Doctor Wells held out her hands. One of the Obsidian clones handed her the instrument.

I’d been curious how Doctor Wells would react to the somewhat stupefied Obsidian clones she was given. But she was completely non-pulsed.

They sort of creeped me out.

We’d sedated the clones prior to our experiments and had already had one failed attempt. I’d broken the clone when I’d tried to force their power into the shape I wanted too quickly.

We’d just s...

“The kittens did better today.” Emma commented as we landed back home after the patrols. “You really should think about a way to reward them.”

“I’ll think of something.” I offered her, knowing that she wouldn’t let me get away without doing something.

She pecked me on the cheek before she sashayed into the manor.

“Me too!” Stella got on her tiptoes and offered her cheek.

I kissed her too and hugged Mona before following them in. The kitchen was empt...

SSV3 Chapter 15

I had been back at the bureau for less than a minute, pondering the level of dust that had accumulated on my bookshelf, when my door flew open.

“Explain this!” Taylor, Rocksolid’s manager, threw her tablet down. It smacked hard enough against my desk that I was worried that the device would snap in two.

I already knew what I would see, but I pretended to be looking for the first time.

On the screen, there was a clear picture of Melody outside the smashed convenience st...

SSV3 Chapter 14

I was invisible and hanging out near the shop when nine o’clock rolled around. “Velody, do you hear me?”

“Miles. Yes, I do.” She laughed. “Am I Velody permanently now?”

“Makes things easier in my head to think of you as a little different person for this, but I won’t keep it up. Alright, how are you going to smash this place in?” I asked.

She floated down from above. Her hair was flowing in the wind as she expertly controlled herself in the air with her n...

SSV3 Chapter 13

The next morning, I was making breakfast with a smile on my face. Therapy sessions and the resulting love puddle that my harem became made it impossible not to smile.

“Stop grinning so much.” Obsidian teased me. “You haven’t even tasted my lovely flesh yet.”

“I would if you hadn’t been playing so hard to get.” I joked.

“Really? Is that what you call being bound up and laying on the floor?” The raven-haired beauty leaned on the counter with an eyebrow cock...

SSV3 Chapter 12

I found myself laying back on the newest therapy couch. We were on our fourth couch. Seemed right. I destroyed one in anger and one during a little happy time. And then Mona destroyed another one, but nobody would tell me what set it off.

No, we were on our fifth. Melody destroyed one with her new power the first time she went to therapy after her mutation.

I patted the couch, trying to give it the ability to survive more than a few days.

“Bonding with the couch?” Angeli...

SSV3 Chapter 11

After we finished a long patrol, we dropped the trainees at the bureau and flew home to change and shower off.

Mona was filling my head with ideas of what we could do in the shower as we landed, and Stella refused to let me go, pushing my head back into her chest. “You have therapy tonight! Do you remember what that means?”

“Are you really going to reward me with sex after every session?” I asked.

“Yes!” Stella squealed. “It’s the best way to incentivise you,...

SSV3 Chapter 10

Stella carried me off for our patrol route. Amelia had Ivanna in her arms again, and Mona was carrying Emma. As we flew, I needed to figure out our first target.

Pings on my tablet showed numerous monster attacks, all the same direction where the military was training women outside the city.

“Girls, I think we have a monster problem. The military’s activities outside the city seem to be disturbing the wilds.” I checked to find which of the blips on the map seemed the most ur...

AN - I think a lot of you will enjoy this chapter ^^ We have a lot of Kim's perspective.

The meeting to discuss project Velody had continued on for a while, focusing on all the details for the new identity.

It had taken longer than it needed to.

Pratt wasn’t exactly used to hearing new ideas, and Kim was very used to sharing them and pushing them. Their arguments dragged on.

But Kim had a history with the military, back when she was a superhero and they ma...

SSV3 Chapter 8

After Doctor Wells finished drawing blood, I headed up to The Spine, rubbing along my arm to get the blood circulating again.

Beatrix whirled around in her chair as I entered. “I set up your special access project.” She didn’t face me as she said it, simply spitting it out and turning back to her work.

“My special access project?” I frowned, not understanding for a moment. Then I realized Melody must have already agreed to what the girls had jokingly called project Velod...

SSV3 Chapter 7

After the lair tour with Obsidian, I headed back to the Bureau for another day of being a superhero manager.

Thankfully, the wave of organized crime that had been sweeping the city had stopped targeting me. Apparently, a few inexplicable deaths and the frequent protection of my women had made me an undesirable target.

But that was part of my struggle. There were often hard to explain moments in my day to day when I needed to use my power to help somebody or protect my women.

“You two got back late last night.” Melody casually commented, as we were all getting up and milling about the kitchen for breakfast.

“Stella’s hair was wild. She looked like she’d been in a wind tunnel.” Mona agreed, even though the telepathic super had picked through my memories already and knew the truth.

Not that I was hiding anything. Mona had full access to root around in my head, just as I did hers, only I rarely used the latter.

Stella still couldn’t st...

“No. I told you I can’t dance.” Stella wrinkled her nose as I got up and offered my hand.

At her reluctance, I tilted my head in disappointment. “I’m here. There won’t be anything bad that happens.”

Stella took the last of my wine and shotgunned it before blowing out a breath. “Okay. I can do this.”

She stood, and I realized her dress had ridden up to where her red panties matching the dress were briefly visible. I stared as she pulled the dress back down a...

SSV3 Chapter 4

After we finished our first stop on patrol, it had been reasonably smooth sailing. I’d paired Amelia with Stella or Emma, and I’d paired Ivanna with Mona for the next several crimes we’d intercepted.

It helped for the trainees to work with seasoned professionals, even if some hadn’t been superheroes for long.

Stella and Mona had enough experience that they could coach and fight.

And after each situation, Emma sat her ‘kittens’ aside and coached them on what they ...

“Bye everyone! We’re going on patrol.” Amelia sang as we stepped out of the Bureau.

Stella joined her, holding her hands as the two of them started to bounce in a circle and continue to sing ‘going on patrol’ together.

I hadn’t thought about the implication of putting both of them together, but it was too late to do anything about it. Ivanna, Emma and Mona were quietly walking by my side. “We need to get going.”

Melody had not been pleased to be benched, but ...

We were peppered with suggestive catcalls Melody and I received on the way out of the women’s locker room.

But Melody seemed to enjoy that type of attention, so I let it go.

Now that harems were more common, even when a man was with a woman, he was considered fair game. I’d adjusted to the constant flirtations.

“Hi Deputy Director.” An office girl winked at me with a flirty wave.

I gave her a non-flirty nod, walking a little closer to Melody.

I drummed my fingers on my arm, frowning down at the superhero trainees who were rightfully contrite in front of me as we sat in the Bureau of Superheroes. “What was the one thing I told you before I let you go fight?” I asked them.

It had been several days since the breakout. This was the first chance I had to talk to them.

Amelia couldn’t meet my eyes, and the rest of the trainees were following her lead.

Ivanna at least had a spine. “Not to fight villains? We didn...

Well, there is Dragon 5. Glad you guys enjoyed it and thanks for pointing out things like Till->Tills, disappearing Maeves or sudden appearances of clothes on dragons that tore their clothes the chapter before.

I have a few more edits and polishing to do, but it’s pretty much done at this point. Dragon 6 is planned to be a summer break for Zach and the college students, while the paranormal tries to lie low as FBI, Bigfoot hunters, and others scrape the city for clues after the big...

Dragon 5 Chapter 33 - END

“So who won?” Jadelyn asked as soon as I came to sit down in the east parlor with Sabrina. Sabrina’s succubus nature was still on display; she’d left her glasses back in the room.

After we’d finished, she had announced with glee that she was so full that she didn’t even feel the need to suppress her nature.

“He did,” Sabrina admitted as she slumped down into the chair next to Jadelyn and leaned against her. “I should feel shame at losing that challenge, given wha...

Morgana had closed Bumps for the Night because of the outage, and we were making the best of the situation.

We had pushed tables together in the dining area, and everyone was in attendance. All of my mates, Tills, Helena, and the dragonettes. The only one missing was Maeve. Even Maddie and Frank had joined us, and it felt damn good to have my old life and new life finally less separated.

Maeve and my honor guard rode me to the fae battle ahead of us. I was curious to see this eternal battle between the seasons for myself.

And it didn’t disappoint. The battle from above it was awe-inspiring. The two forces seemed to stretch all the way to the horizon on either side.

But news of Winter’s fall spread; every winter fae could feel her weakened state. They quit the battlefield and retreated as one.

But it seemed organized. The Summer fae allowed their retreat ...

Dragon 5 Chapter 30

I moved through the portal into the fae worlds, coming out the other end immediately buffeted with the frigid winds of a snowstorm. Snow swirled around our group, and the leafless trees creaked as the weighed down branches of ice were blown about by the strong wind.

“There. My King.” Polydora pointed through the storm towards a vast castle coated in ice rose amid the storm.

Even with the fresh snow, enough vampires had been passing through the portal that there was an obvious ...

I barely registered the ride to Wissahickon park as Sabrina’s body made mine nearly combust with heat.I found myself appreciating Morgana’s driving in a new way as Sabrina bounced and shifted from side to side with Morgana’s sharp turns.

“Guess the council has it all on lockdown,” Morgana commented as the van came to a screeching halt.

Ahead of us, there were lines of military jeeps with mounted guns and sirens manning them.
