Hope you all enjoyed the holidays, and hopefully some downtime of your own.

Another book down. Dar is growing exponentially. If he gets a celestial dao in book 4, then just how stupid powerful will Dar be in the ending for book 5? Really stupid powerful. But it’ll be fun, epic battles.

I’m already chugging through Mana 5. We even have another mother-in-law scene as we head to Blueheavens and start the drama in Wenxi’s family.

Dar and his women walked cautiously to the hive, needing to make sure that the threat was resolved. Much to their relief, all that remained was a handful of mantis and drones wandering the site aimlessly. Stragglers that had returned to the hive after the battle or those that had been deep in the hive finally surfacing.

Blair burst forward, wrapped in diamond armor.

The queen separated herself from the burning birthing section, and a pair of buzzing wings flared out of her back as she met Blair’s charge head on. As they collided, the queen sent Blair backwards, bouncing along the ground.

“Dar, it’s time to get up.” Mika shook him gently at first, then harder when he didn’t wake up immediately.

Dar slapped the rest of the clay over the diamond cauldron for the foundry, using his own dao of heat to bake the clay into a ceramic liner. It wouldn’t last forever, but it would do its job of insulating the diamond.

Ceramics were surprisingly heat resistant.
