Hey Everyone,

Firstly thanks for all of the support. Its been great to get the ball moving again with this Patreon and I've had so many new people come on board, or back on board.

I've attached a bunch of video processes from the month.

Enya

The idea of the censored one first is just so you don't get an eyeful when you're scrolling past. I'm still on the fence about these fully explicit pieces but I will keep doing 1 or 2 a month.

I do think my main aim is just 'sexy' if that makes any sense. Sexy pinup, implied nudity that sort of thing. I'll be trying to lean more into that side of things.

I had a surprising amount of fun doing this piece. It was just something I was throwing together so I had something mostly finished to post on Instagram.

February Art Update

Haven't posted in a few days so I just wanted to share some of the stuff I'm working on for the month.

First one was just some fanart of @neptuneexplainsitall. I like the sticker design format so I do that sometimes. Once I find a good drop shipping company I'll likely start doing more designs and selling them.

Tifa

I don't think I've ever actually drawn Tifa before. I just wanted to do something quick while I get some sketches together for the month.

February Sketches

Got some Enya planned for the month, and Tifa did pretty well in the poll. I've been wanting to draw her for a while as well.

Leathers

Tried pushing up the saturation on my skin tones. I think because my style is more cartoony, it benefits more from the higher saturated colours.

Let me know what you think? This one vs the previous piece which had more subdued skin tones.

Line art with the armour version. Each piece of armour is removable individually, so I'll be putting out a few different versions.

She Hulk

I've been wanting to play with the steeper angle shots to get a bit more variety in my posing. This was a quick piece I just wanted to get done for Social media. Start to finish around 3 hours.

NSFW - Sonja Sketch

Refined up the sketch for the final piece. This was a surprisingly difficult pose to get right. Half the reason I wanted to start doing these types of works is it can really challenge your angles and pose selection.

Question: How much of her clothing should I leave on? i.e. should I put her shoulder Armor back on, boots etc.

Piecing it all Together

There have been a number of things I've been practicing/trying to figure out how to stylize. Skin tones, line densities, tattoos, lineart vs rendering etc...

This is an attempt to put all of those things together and I am very happy with the results. There are still a couple of things I'd like to work on, clothes being one of them, but I'm happy with the progress.

Skin Tone

I've been doing a lot of these. The main aim is to work out my process for skin tones. I don't want to get into full on rendering but I do what to get the tonal variation in there.

NSFW Content

Hey, I'm starting to get back into the swing of things after the Christmas period and all of the other stuff I had going on. Just wanted to ask if anyone had a problem with NSFW content.

Hiatus

Hey guys. Some of you might have noticed the significant reduction in content I’ve been putting out. Nothings wrong, but there have been several changes in my day to do that’s requiring a lot more brain power.

Nothing kills creativity like decision fatigue. So, I’ve still be drawing but I’ve had a reduced amount of time and energy, so I’ve only been doing some free sketching.

That’s why I’ve decided to put things on hold for a time.
