Groups Spreadsheet

I've told myself for over a year now that I need to put together a more organized list of my facebook groups, how often I post in them, but yesterday I finally sat down and started it! Not putting pressure on myself to have it complete by any deadline, if anything just by creating it this gives me an excuse to go through and check in on a few groups a day. Cabaret of Evil

Last night was the last Cabaret of Evil of 2016. Next month we hit the ground running with our "Strip Against Trump" show to benefit the ACLU.
But last night was all about ending Veteran Suicide.
We raised $233 dollars, had 8 acts, an amazing stage manager (who covered for our stage kitten who didn't show up). All in all, it was one of the best shows I've done this year. I'm so proud of everyone.
Now to prep for Strip Against Trump!

Focused! (No, Really)

This week has been a total energy suck. I haven't gotten nearly as much done as I would like, but last night I latched onto a point of focus and am telling myself I have to get this shit done! Next Saturday is the second Toys Come Alive show, which means that I've got 10 days to go through two acts and get them up to speed. Burlycon Wrap Up

But in all seriousness, this was the first Burlycon I ever really attended (by which I mean a few years back I slipped in for a single class). Part of that is because I'm a poor, starving artist and part of it is that the local burlesque community flat out intimidates me.

So I got a poster back from a designer and it's just not great. The designer advertises themselves as doing book covers and their portfolio looked good, but I feel like this was very slapdash. Will probably cannibalize individual pieces of, or probably just scrap entirely. :/

Phirebrand photography helping me out with some poster work. Don't worry, we took some Patreon-exclusive photos, too. Also, I had a chance to get down to the Urban Lights gallery for a fundraiser and I'm gonna feel good about buying art to support more art.

On the note of feeling the need to do something, my friend David and I just bought $20 worth of hamburgers (11) and drove around the UD handing them out. It was small, but it was a thing and we did it. That's today's act of super villainy.
