I'm pretty swamped with commercial work and will be skipping a full comic for this month. I don't want to get burnt out, but I still wanna do something and I've been having a lot of fun playing with different ideas. I may get a little sillier with the next one, depending on the result of the poll.

I'm knocking out all of the sketches for the rest of this comic and will go back and do the inks/colors when they're done. I wanna try to get the panels plotted while I still have it my head. I always kind of struggle on which "parts" of a tf sequence to really focus on, and waffled around a bit too much on this page. I hope the progression make sense!

The second panel is driving me nuts. I'm not sure why but the posing is giving me trouble and feels like I went off model for the character. I've noodled around with it enough though, and am hoping that I can sus out the issue with her face and torso during the inks. If not, well, one imperfect panel isn't the end of the world I guess. I may just be being too critical.

Vampy Peddler Sketch

Quick pin up sketch I did last week when I was mulling over the character designs for the "Strength of a Dragon" comic for this month. This was before I decided she would be a vendor, but maybe she can still keep her fangs and stay a Vamp in the comic. She's got a cloak and will always be standing in shadow in the comic anyways.

It took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to do Feb's comic. I've been watching the BBC's Merlin and it's definitely influenced the setting a bit. I actually started drawing in each background, but quickly realized I'll never actually make any kind of short deadline that way. So I've thrown together a 3D scene in Clip Studio Paint to make things a bit easier this time. I'll still probably do some kind of unique color/shading for the backgrounds though.

I wanted to see how the whole sequence worked as a longer strip, kinda like webtoon's format. I'm much too lazy to actually space everything out and have it flow properly for the longer format, but I think it's actually kinda nice as is.
I feel like I got my comic mojo back with this one and I'm over all very happy with it. So I'll be leaving this on the feed for all paid tiers to enjoy.

It was so relaxing to draw all of these cute kitty shots. I'm thinking about reusing the pigtail witch master here in future magic tfs.

Now that our young witch is mostly feline, it's time to get domestic and tiny!

I'm just torn on whether or not to do an row of additional of small breasts for them only vanish in a fluff of fur, or just shrink her human breasts. I'm thinking more rows, maybe.

Just what the title says! Moseying a long with these pages. I'm having a lot of fun playing with the colors on this one. I decided to keep these pages character focused so there are no real backgrounds to speak of. Which leaves me room to play with the "mood" for each panel more.

I've got all the pages drafted for this 5 page comic. I'm trying a new format this time with more "square" like pages to make them easier to read on social media.

One thing I'm focusing on with this sequence is the expressiveness of the characters. I feel like my last werewolf comic was kind of stiff feeling. But I suppose it makes sense with how long I've haven't been focusing on my art.

Billing is paused for Dec. I had to travel unexpectedly this month and the holidays always kind of blind side me with how little time I have for everything. As a result I've fallen behind in my art for November.

About a year ago I worked on an indie game called "Tooth and Nail", and while it was eventually cancelled, I'm still quite proud of the work I did for it. If I remember correctly, this was a back alley scene where the player discovered a vampire victim. Done in clip studio paint, in about 6 hours. (there were several edits after the sketch phase)

Finished the full sequence! I kind of felt like there needed to be an additional step between parts 3 and 4, but overall I'm pretty satisfied.

Final part! This has been a lot of fun to draw. If I were able to be any kind of creature, a badass, powerful, scaly would definitely be it!

All of those years of drawing dinosaur legs came in use too!
