This shoot brought me so much joy. As a kid, I loved rolling around freshly cut grass. The feeling of true freedom is laying in a sunny field on a random thursday & fully being immersed into my own world.

Co-model Bo Ackaert organized a lovely shooting event! I wanted to share all of you the Behind The Scenes as a fun little extra! From sorting out my lingerie in front of photographers for them to choose (yes, it gets messy!) to giving my sexiest poses with co-models who are just as sexy... check! The funnest moments in such a day? Eating together, bonding, and having an excuse to be in lingerie for a whole day. Just lovely.

High Class Lady

I often fantasize about how life would be if I would have a mansion, a pool, a fancy car instead of my shitty Peugeot. If I would drink Champagne with higher ups and people who assign themselves a lot of importance. And I think, if I'm really honest, that life is a temporary experience. It's the people that make it enjoyable, not the materials. Although sometimes, I can shoot in mansions, like for this shoot. For those days, I count my blessings for a life that could have been.

Drift

More often than not, modeling keeps me young. It energizes me, and I need to bend my limbs in all kinds of weird ways. And it's so telling, how every photo emits an other aura. This series for example, emit such a drift in me. A teen angst almost, to be perceived. Maybe being perceived isn't always a blessing, but I love to look back on older shoots and simply let myself be. This drifty version of me had a place. It was seen.

Sexy On The Sofa

Robert is an older photographer but his way of working is a blessing. There's a lot of focus on emotion and feeling every part of your body. The photos must be sexy and sensual but not vulgar. You can definitely feel that the photos give off the impression that you're chilling with me on the sofa, on a random wednesday morning. This is how I'd like to present myself as well: approachable, just the way I am, a girl next door, who could happen to lay on your sofa naked.

Kitchen Acrobatics

I'm NO kitchen princess, but I can turn it into flexible gym! I have no shame climbing onto the kitchen island and I LOVE monkeys because well, I move like one myself. Who says a kitchen was for cooking anyway? I think I'll use it way more for shoots anyway. Isn't that also why architects exist? To create beautiful spaces for us to exist in, that should be seen just like the beautiful bodies we got at birth?

It's Never Over

You may think that models get depleted after creating for so long, well... you'd be surprised how much emotions we can tap into still after all these years. Some pain lessens, yes, but life finds it ways to create new complex emotions. I'd like to think that emotions mature with us. Damsel without dress

Have you ever visited a castle? Did you know that Belgium had the most castles per square meter? Well, now you do!

This old castle in Borluut was abandoned but is currently used for expositions, photoshoots and other creative endeavors.

Since I got to know MOWA Models agency, they wanted me to do a shoot for them. And I did! The results are pretty neat. What do you think of this damsel?

Blueberry Baby

One of the colors I often don’t see used as much in shoots is blue. It’s funny in a way since blue is such a beautiful and strong color, but understandable since our skintones are more yellow toned.

Koen stepped away from the summery saturation this time and went for a blue-themed shoot with me. A cool refresher for the start of the summer months!

Amaterasu

This series translates as 'goddess of the sun' in Japanese. The majestic crown was made by Viola Claeys, a friend of mine who often makes costumes for burlesque dancers. I absolutely fell in love with this headpiece and bought it to feel powerful. That's exactly what the photographer made me feel like. Eventually his chicken joined in (because I can't hold our chickens at home, and really wanted to hold one), so we incorporated it in the shoot. Overall a very fun experience! I totally forgot posting a poll, but I absolutely think feedback is detrimental to keep bringing the best kind of content to the table.

May was a very busy month, resulting in you getting some more shoots than promised! Therefor June may seem like a month were less content was released, but see it as having gotten a head start in May. 

(July will likely have some cool themes too with the National Belgian Holiday coming up!)

Glam & Ghetto

Although my house looks like a ghetto at the moment, it's beginning to take shape. The walls are showing it's true colors again, the bad plaster is being removed and the attic will be isolated soon. Nothing stops me however from doing some glamorous shoots in my ghetto paradise!
